"Hello again, Theia." a familiar voice echoed in my head.
"Lea? Is that really you?" I asked, barely able to believe it. After all these years, my wolf was finally speaking to me again!
"Hello my friend. Yeah, it’s me. Sorry it took me long enough to find my way back to you." And there she was, in the corner of my mind. For the first time, I could see her, a stunning, golden-brown wolf, graceful and majestic.
A smile tugged at my lips, and happiness surrounded my heart like a warm blanket. "Are you here to stay this time?" I asked, hardly daring to believe it.
"Yes, but I’m not fully healed yet. Healing Gaia took a lot out of me, so I need to rest for now. Don’t worry—I’ll be back." With that, she retreated into the shadows of my mind, leaving me with a sense of hope.
