His eyes still closed, I sat up and pressed my lips softly against his. “I’d rather show you how I feel.” I whispered his own words back to him, then kissed him again. He was surprised for a second, before his hands wound through my hair, holding me against him as he kissed me back, slow and sensual. It was a tender kiss that I hadn’t expected from Derik.
