“It didn’t work.” Warren says, his voice barely above a whisper. “She’s dead.”
“Try again. Maybe the dose wasn’t enough.” I say calmly grabbing the serum Warren just made and practically shove it down Morgana’s throat. This can’t be happening. I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive myself if she dies.
I had so much planned for her. I was going to make the world better for her. She gave me a reason to be better, to fight. She just can’t die like this.
