MORGANA’S POV
“Ryder, brother. Talk to me. Why do you look like that? Where’s Colton? What happened?” Damon impatiently asks as he studies his brother's looks.
I stay put beside the window and watch them curiously, waiting to hear what Ryder has to say about Colton.
“The vampires. They ambushed us. They took Colton Damon. They shot him with some sort of poison that paralyzed him. I couldn’t fight them off, we were outnumbered. Damon, Colton has been taken.” Ryder explains breathing heavily. He looks like he’s about to cry.
A small smirk forms on my face as I hear the good news Ryder just announced. Even though I’m not the one to kill Colton myself, the fact that the vampires have him now means he is going to suffer in their hands and that makes me beyond happy.
