Gabby's breath hitched as she saw the headline, her face draining of color. "No...this can’t be happening," she murmured, her voice barely audible. "s**t," Tony muttered, his face paling as he stared at the TV screen. "How the hell did this get out?" Gabby grabbed his arm, her voice urgent and trembling. "We need to get out of here. Now." Tony shook her off, his eyes blazing with fury. "You think this is a nightmare for you? Do you have any idea what this means for me? My entire career, my reputation, it's all on the line because of you!" Gabby flinched, tears welling up. "I-I’m sorry. I don’t know how this happened. I didn’t do anything!" Tony's anger only grew. "Didn’t do anything? You show up in my bed, half-naked, and now there’s a picture of us plastered all over the news. How am I supposed to believe you had no part in this? What’s your angle? Trying to extort money from me?" Gabby's tears spilled over, her voice breaking. "I swear, I don’t know! I just want to go home." Tony's glare was ice cold. "Home? Do you think you can just walk away from this? We’re in this mess together now, and you’re not going anywhere until we figure this out. Do you understand?" Gabby nodded, trembling. "Y-yes. I understand." Tony grabbed her arm roughly, pulling her back to the hotel room. “Follow me and keep your mouth shut" As they made their way back to the hotel room, Gabby couldn’t shake the feeling of being in great danger. She glanced at Tony, whose stern expression didn’t waver. "Sir," she began hesitantly, "what if we can’t figure this out? What if it gets worse?" Tony's eyes flicked to hers, and his fury flared up again. "Then it’s on you. Do you think I can afford to let this get worse? This is my life we’re talking about. I don’t need you complicating things further." "Gabby's eyes welled up with fresh tears. "I didn’t ask for this! I don’t even know how I got here!”. "I’m sorry. I am. They reached the door and Tony pushed her forward. "Get in there and keep low. We’re not leaving until we know what to do next ." Gabby stumbled in the door, her heart pounding. “Have mercy on me, sir! She pleaded. Tony's grip on her arm tightened painfully. "Listen to me," he hissed, leaning in close. "If you do anything to make this worse, I will ruin you. Do you understand? Your life won’t be worth living." Gabby nodded frantically, tears streaming down her face. "I understand. Please, just let’s get out of here." Tony's eyes burned with anger. "Shut the f**k up". You know what, "Get your things. We’re leaving." Gabby quickly gathered her belongings, stuffing clothes and essentials into a bag. As they were about to leave, Gabby's phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen and paled. "It’s my boss," she said, her voice shaking. "He’s seen the news." Tony snatched the phone from her, his eyes blazing. "Hello, this is Tony Waters. Gabby can’t talk right now." There was a stunned silence on the other end, then a sputtered response. "Mr. Hank? I ... .uh, I just wanted to check on Gabby. This situation is”... "Handled," Tony interrupted harshly. "Gabby will be taking a leave of absence. Please respect her privacy." He ended the call and threw the phone back at Gabby. "You’re a liability. I can’t deal with you right now." Gabby's eyes widened in shock. "What? You’re just going to leave me here?" Tony's face twisted with rage. "Yes. I have more important things to handle than babysitting you. Stay here, lay low, and keep your mouth shut. If you do anything to make this worse, I’ll make sure you regret it." Gabby's hands shook as she clutched her phone, staring at Tony in disbelief. "You can’t just leave me here! What if the press finds me? What if someone else is behind this?" Tony's eyes were cold, his voice like steel. "Not my problem. I’ve got enough on my plate without having to deal with your mess." Gabby's tears streamed down her face. "Please, I don’t know what to do. I’m scared, Sir. I don’t even know how I ended up in your room." Tony sneered, stepping closer, his presence intimidating. "Save your sob story. For all I know, you planned this from the start. You wanted to get close to me, to ruin me." Gabby shook her head vehemently, her voice breaking. "That’s not true! I just want to go home, to forget this ever happened." Tony laughed bitterly. "Home? Do you think you can just run away from this? You’re in this deep now, and if you don’t play your cards right, you’ll be the one everyone blames." Gabby's lip quivered as she tried to find her voice. "But I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t ask for this!" Tony grabbed her by the shoulders, his grip tight and unforgiving. "Wrong? Look around you, Gabby! Everything’s gone to hell because of you. And if you think for one second I’m going to let you ruin me, you’re sorely mistaken." Gabby flinched under his grip, her sobs growing louder. "Please, just tell me what to do. I’ll do anything to make this right." Tony's expression softened for a moment before hardening again. "You’re going to stay quiet, keep your head down, and pray that this blows over. If anyone asks, you know nothing. Got it?" Gabby nodded frantically, her tears blurring her vision. "I got it. I promise I won’t say anything." Tony Released her roughly, stepping back with a look of disgust. "Good. Because if you don’t, I will make sure your life is a living hell. Do you think this is bad? It can get a lot worse." Gabby wiped her eyes, trying to steady her breathing. "Okay. I understand. I’ll stay calm and keep quiet." Tony's eyes narrowed. Pack your things"I’m going to clean up this mess. But if I find out you’ve done anything to jeopardize this, I won’t just ruin you. I’ll destroy you." Gabby shivered, the weight of his threat sinking in. She quickly grabbed a few more items, stuffing them into her bag with trembling hands. As she did, she couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of dread. How had her life spiraled out of control so quickly? Tony watched her with a mix of anger and frustration. "Hurry up. I don’t have all day." Gabby nodded, zipping up her bag and standing up. "I’m ready." Tony Grabbed her arm, dragging her toward the door. "Good. Now remember, not a word to anyone. Your silence is the only thing that’ll keep you safe." Gabby swallowed hard, nodding. "I understand." Tony shoved her out the door, his eyes burning with rage. "Then get out of my sight. And pray you never see me again." As they both descended out of the hotel door the media were downstairs, their lights flashing on them, with their records. The tension became high “Mr Hank, what do you have to say about the news going around the net and your pictures seen half naked with a common girl,” one of the press asked him.
