Chapter 10

Lexi's P.O.V. ~ "Um, Mr. Turner you know these children?" The snobby looking mother said. She looked plastic and b****y, just like her daughter. He straightened up and looked at everyone else. "Yes, this is my niece. Come on Lex and Tom, sit in my office." He ushered us inside not before telling the students to go to class except the main one, he said she was "excused from classes for the rest of the day". That was only because he couldn't be bothered with those parents who he looked like he was three seconds away from killing. He sat down in his chair right across from us. None of us said anything and we showed no emotion on our faces. I could feel that Tommy wanted to say something because Uncle Jerry was like his father/best friend.  "Ok, screw this. How you doing Uncle Jerry? It's been a while man." I roll my eyes, oh God Tommy. Uncle Jerry refuses to say anything until I do, it's something he used to do when we were in trouble. He would sit down Tommy and I, and wouldn't say anything, just stare at us until we both said something and then and only then would he say something. Unlucky for him, I am very good at not speaking. He turned his gaze to me and we had a bit of a staring competition. Tommy sighed. "God Lexi just say something so Uncle J can get over the punishments and we can catch up already. Jeez, didn't you miss him at all?" I sigh, no point in fighting.  ''Fine, how you doing Uncle J?" He chuckled then sighed.  "Why am I not surprised that you guys are here? You could never stay away from trouble, could you?" I snort, "Where's the fun in that?" He rolls his eyes, then goes back to his serious face which only meant that he was delivering bad news or punishing us.  "Lexi why did you fight that girl? Her father is the mayor and is wanting to sue you for what you did." I knew Uncle J just didn't wanting us to get hurt or into more trouble than we usually do, but she crossed a line.  "Uncle J if you had heard what she said then you would've hit her as well. She was talking s**t about Uncle Raymond, saying he was an a*****e and that he taught me to be a b***h. I kinda lost it from there and started with the beating." His head falls back and he lets out a booming laugh.  "Oh, Lexi how I missed you and your 'no b******t' attitude." I let a small smile appear on my lips.  "Ugh, and you didn't miss me Uncle Jerry, now that's just cold. I thought I was your favourite?" Tommy uses his fake hurt voice. Uncle J snorts,  "Yeah right, I think we all know that Lexi is my favourite." I laugh. Tommy looks hurt but I can tell it's fake. "Ha, in your face Tommy." He looks like he's about to yell profanities at me, so Uncle J quickly interupts with a little one of those forced coughs that catches peoples attention.  "Anyways, I am going to have to punish you, and Tiffany will be punished for saying those thins about you and Raymond as well." Huh, Tiffany's her name, it's a sluts name.  "As punishment, you both will be joining an extra curricular of my choice. Tommy yours is football and Lexi, yours is cheerleading. You are going to join next Monday, so you have weekend to relax." Both mine and Tommy's eyes widen.  "What no Uncle J you can't do that! How are we meant to do missions, finish Lexi's parents and Uncle Raymond's case, plus school work as well as being on the football team? I mean like I am good at football we just have a lot on out plates right now Uncle J." Tommy yelled at him but I knew it was no use, when Uncle J makes up his mind there isn't really any changing it.  "Lexi, you aren't going to fight this?" Tommy asks bringing me back to the conversation. I sigh. "Tommy, when have you ever seen the old man change his mind, the only one who could do that was Uncle Raymond and I don't see him anywhere here, so we might as well just suck it up and get on with it. Plus, being on the football team helps with girls and your popularity, so you could got more girls which will not be welcome into my house, capeesh?" He nods his head vigorously, obviously wanting more popularity with girls though I doubt he needs it.  "Alright, now that that's settled, you two are excused for the rest of the day and I will inform the teams about your joining them. You are excused now, I have actual work to do." We picked up our bags ready to leave when he added,  "Oh and children, no smoking on school grounds." We chuckled and then left to the parking lot to leave school. We wanted to go peacefully without fighting but that wasn't going to happen. There, standing next to some ugly car which, no doubt was super expensive, is the supposed mayor, his wife, Tiffany and Maxwell and some of the boys and girls from before.  "Ugh seriously, if they don't leave I don't think you or Uncle J could stop me and what I will do them." Tommy full blown laughed at that. We had to stop on the steps because he couldn't breathe from his laughter.  "Tommy how I really wish to continue this let's do so at home, away from these people, and there you can stop breathing and do the world some good." That sobered him up. We continued walking and did that thing where you put your hand over your heart and act hurt when you're not.  "Um excuse you, but the world would probably stop revolving if this..." He moved his arm up and down in front him like you do when you're showing off your outfit. "...was taken off of it."  "I so highly doubt that and you and your go need to get in check before we go back to HQ and meet the twins." Now, we were at our car and the group was progressing towards us. I mutter under my breath, "Here we go again." "Children, we need to talk to you. Now." God, her voice is so f*****g annoying that I wish I had gone deaf in the bombing to years ago, don't ask it's a long story. When neither of us answered and just looked at them, the husband continued this time. "We would like to know why you attacked our daughter and her friends. If I do not like the answer then I will be taking legal action." When he spoke this, he was looking at Tommy. Tommy started laughing when he understood what they were implying, that Tommy beat this girl and her friends. "Oh um dude I am so flattered that you would think it would be me but unfortunately, the credit has to go to my best friend. I wish I could do as bad as her but she's just a bit better." They turned their attention to me at this. I don't even think they thought it could be me. The wife let's out the ugliest, shrillest, fakest and absolute s*******t laugh I have ever heard. "Her, this little thing. I think you are just trying to cover your tracks and make this creature take 'credit' as you put it." I gave the most unamused look a person could ever give. I was so not in the mood for this right now. Tiffany stepped forward and grabbed her mothers arm. Her eyes are swollen and puffy, along with pretty much the rest of her face.  "No Mama, it was this girl. She did this to us." Her mother was still sceptical so she looked to the other kids for help. They all nodded in confirmation. I had enough of this and I had more important things to do.  "Ok lady, I haven't got enough time for this. Yes, I did this to your daughter and her friends and no, I'm not sorry nor am I going to apologise for it. Your daughter, insulted my uncle and no one gets away with that and I mean no one. I wouldn't care if you were the Queen of England or a serial killer, I would hurt anyone who insults him and his memory. I will not just stop here for you daughter and her 'friends'. I have got plans for them, especially you Max.'' I looked him right in the eye when I said this.  "You going to be the one I hurt the most, and I'm just starting. You didn't think I forgot about what you used to do me, did you?" Then I turned back to Tiffany's mother.  "Oh and also, you will not be pressing legal charges against me unless you want to be homeless, begging for cash on the streets, or worse. Do we understand each other?" She nodded her head, though her face was clear of any emotion, her eyes showed fear, worry and caution. With that I turned and got into the car and Tommy followed, started it and almost ran over them when they didn't move out of the way. God, this was going to be a long year.
