Lexi's P.O.V.
~
It was now Monday afternoon, and Tommy and I were on way to the lockers where they got changed into their sports clothes. We waited until everyone left than entered, into two separate ones, obviously. I put on a black sports b*a, some black shorts and my black sports shoes. I walked out at the same time as Tommy, who had all of his tattoos on full view. Uncle Jerry was waiting there for us because they only know that people are joining the teams, they don't know it's us.
"Alright kiddos you ready?" We both nodded and he lead us to the fields where they practice. We stayed a but behind him and he left and got the kids attention while we watched from the shadows. Once they had all gathered around him he began.
"Alright students I know that by know all of you know that you will have a new member each. Now, before they come out and you begin protesting like I know most of you probably will, this is a punishment for them, so they didn't join these teams on their own. So now once they come out here I would like volunteer from each team to show them the ropes and how things work here. Who would like to volunteer?" Carla almost immediately put her hand up, well I see that she hasn't lost the nice manners that were in her before I left, and reluctantly, Max put his hand up.
"Splendid. Alright just so you guys know, you both volunteered so you can't back out now and must continue. Kiddos, come out here." We walked out and the kids gasped and I could feel about three glares on me.
"What?! Her?! I don't want her on my team Mr. Turner. Does she even know anything about cheerleading?" Oh great, Tiffany is captain. Thanks Uncle J, NOT!
"I did gymnastics for five years and was accepted onto the national team but I declined them, twice." I said smugly. I then turned to look at Uncle Jerry.
"Seriously Uncle J, you put me on a team with her? You did this on purpose didn't you? Oh I could kill you Uncle Jerry." The kids went kinda weird cause I call him Uncle but what, he was the one who said we could.
"Um yeah Uncle J you know I'm like a Gog at literally everything I do, but I wouldn't want to steal the spotlight of the little team you've got here, plus I think I would like it better on the side lines, right behind the cheerleaders." He finished with a wink to them which had a few blushing.
"Ok now Lex and Tom, I did this for a reason and I'm sure you're both smart enough to figure it out. Anyways, I'll be going now, you know, important stuff. I'll be taking my leave." He kissed my forehead and whispered to me,
"Show them what you got Lexi, and make Raymond proud." I slightly nodded and then he left.
"Ugh, come one dude, I'll show you our basic training schedule and we can go from there." Max basically dragged away Tommy and that left me with the cheerleaders.
"Ok well Lexi, how about I go through the basic stretches with you?" Oh Carla, always so nice. I nodded, not in the mood to talk. As I was walking by Tiffany she grabbed my arm.
"Listen here Alexandra, just because you've lost your fat and are reasonably skinny now, doesn't mean your pretty and that you can guys. You're still the same fat girl you where when you left here and I'll make sure to remind you of that. Every. Day." She hissed the last part and I just couldn't hold it back anymore. My laugh caught her a bit of guard, she was probably expecting me to hit her, again.
"Oh Tiffany, I see that in that big head of yours there is a really, really, tiny brain that doesn't digest information. I'll tell you this again, I'm not afraid of you and won't bow down to you because you tell me to. And darling, you might want to take another look at me, do you see an ounce of fat on me except in the places that guys want them to be, unlike you who needs a boob job. Your stomach is flat I'll give you that much, but I got abs which is like way better. Also, I really couldn't give two f***s about what guy wants me, which is all of them by the looks of it right now. So, if you'll excuse I am going to stretch over there with Carla." I yanked my arm and left her standing there shocked, and looking at her boobs to see if her boob job was actually noticeable. The girls are snickering at the fact that I finally pointed out that she got a boob job because they are too scared of her to say anything. Carla is waiting for me on the floor, her leg stretched out in an almost straight line and I can see she is struggling a bit.
"Um Carla do you want me to tell you how to get your leg straight without hurting it?" I asked her. She looked shocked, probably that I had initiated conversation.
"Sure, if you wouldn't mind. I just have no idea and Tiffany gets mad at me for not being to do when she isn't that much better." Carla explained.
"Carla why don't you step up to her. She isn't royalty or anything." Carla sighs.
"In this town, she is. After Mayor Sawyer died of a heart attack, Tiffany's dad was appointed mayor and everyone then started looking up to her and she started bossing people around and no one said anything in fear of her dad and what he would do."
"Still, now that I'm here I'll put her in her place, don't worry." I stand up and do a handstand to stretch my arms.
"Carla does she bully anyone. Or does anyone in this school get bullied really badly? And if so by who?" I start doing the splits while in a handstand. Carla seems shocked, whether by my question or my position, I'm not sure.
"Oh um well there is this boy, he is a sophomore and Tiffany really doesn't like him for some reason. She always goes out of her way to make him feel bad about himself. We've all tried to get her to stop, she just won't and no one knows what to do." She looks guilty. I move so my feet are on the ground but behind me and I pull my self up from the backwards bend.
"Well now that I'm here I'll get her to stop. She's not that threating I don't know why you guys couldn't all just group up and defend the poor kid but nothing can be done now except help him. What's the kids name?" She looks down.
"Well um the thing is that um, well he um-"
"Carla as much as I love the mumbling thing could you please just tell me his name." I was bent over in half, my head was facing my feet and I was doing some breathing thing my old coach taught me.
"His name is Jackson Reids." My head shot up at that. I am seething right now.
"I'm sorry did you just say Jackson Reids? The same Jackson Reids who is an orphan and has ADHD?" She nods and looks down. Jackson is the sweetest boy you could ever meet. His parents left him at the hospital right after they found out he had ADHD. I used to go to the orphanage and read and play with the little kids, and Jackson and I always had a bond and I made sure to protect him.
I stretch my arms some more and then storm over to Tiffany and her g**g of s***s.
"Oi, Tiffany!" I call out when I'm about ten metres from here.
"What do you-?" She was cut off with a punch to her face.
"How dare you bully Jackson? I will kill you for hurting him!" I was walking to her and she was trying to stand, clearly affected by the first time I hit her.
"S**T LEXI DON'T!" I could hear Tommy but right now I could only concentrate on this b***h lying on the floor in front of me.
"SO WHAT IF I BULLY HIM?! He deserves it!" I punch her about four more times.
"WHAT ON EARTH DID HE EVER DO TO YOU THAT HE DESERVES THIS TREATMENT FROM YOU?!" I don't get an answer from her as I was pulled back into Tommy's arms that had me in this chokehold type thing that was impossible to get out of unless they let you go. I was thrashing against him though.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" 'S**t', I thought when I heard Uncle Jerry's booming voice.
"You two, my office, NOW!" 'Oh crap.'
