Chapter 9: Breaking Point

309 Words
Her POV — LUNA I didn’t know how much longer I could hold myself together. The weight of the pack’s expectations, the ghosts of my past—they clawed at me like a storm ready to break. Ryan was the only thing keeping me grounded, but even his steady presence couldn’t stop the panic rising inside. One night, after a long day of fighting battles both inside and out, I found myself trembling in his arms. “Tell me I’m enough,” I whispered, voice breaking. He kissed my forehead gently. “You’re more than enough. You’re my fire. My fight. My everything.” But words weren’t enough. I needed to feel it. I needed him. And when he pulled me close, skin pressed against skin, his hands roaming with fierce tenderness, I melted into him like never before. Our bodies moved together slow and fierce—each touch a promise, each kiss a lifeline. When I finally came, shuddering and sobbing into his chest, I knew I was breaking… but in his arms, breaking meant becoming whole. His POV — RYAN She was fracturing, tearing apart inside, and I could feel every shard of pain. But she never stopped fighting. That night, I held her until she stopped shaking. When she pulled me down, desperate and aching, I gave her everything. Slow, deep, relentless. Every kiss, every touch was my way of telling her she was safe. That she was mine. I tasted the tears on her lips, felt her trembling against me as we moved together like we were the only two left in the world. When she came apart beneath me, I followed—screaming her name, desperate to be the anchor she needed. Afterwards, she clung to me, breathless and raw. I promised her then—no matter what came—we would survive. Together.
