***Four Months Later***
I sat at the table, feeling my heart swell with happiness as my gaze drifted across the room. I couldn't help but admire the faces of my friends and family that now surrounded me. I felt an old sensation I never thought I would experience again rise up inside of me. I was home with my family..family that loved and cherished me just like my dad did before.
There were some new faces here as well..ones that I didn't expect to see at the dinner table but in the end, none of the past mattered, not after all we had been through.
