Jake’s POV
Hunter lunged for Wayne, the sight of him touching our mate sent him into overdrive. I could see he was stitching her wound shut to help it heal but Hunter was blinded with too much rage and didn’t care for his reasons.
“Hunter NO” Angel shouted as she shoved him away blocking his path to Wayne.
Forcing the shift back into human form I grabbed a blanket from the floor and wrapped it around my bottom half. Walking over to Angel I glared at Wayne as I remembered he was present in the room while Nick was tortured, doing nothing to help him remaining in the shadows.
