Nightmare

Venom traveled back to Monadria after his journey to the outside world. However, besides the world that he walked into, there was another world where mortal beings lived.

Kring! Kring!

The sound of the smartphone's alarm clock woke up the soul of Celyn. With her eyes still partly closed, she moved and searched for her phone that was placed on the table on the right side of her bed. She opened the phone and its bright screen caused her tantalizing eyes to blink. He rubbed her eyes by her left hand and stared at the screen.

She turned off the alarm clocked that kept on snoozing, it was already two in the morning and she set another two hours again before she put the phone on the table.

She stared first at the ceiling and thinking about the journey that her friends might do to finish the study about the miraculous flower that was so rare to find according to hearsays of some people that witnessed the power of that plant. However, because she and her friends were researchers of a famous university, they wanted to left a legacy to all and they need to find out the truth that lies behind that plant to prove whether it was true or not.

She closed her eyes and made a deep breath. A moment later and she suddenly felt that the coldness of the wind called her to sleep again.

After a moment, Celyn saw some image that appeared on her mind. She was happily walking at the shore with a young guy that she had never seen or known yet. She wearing a frown while holding the hands of the young man. Celyn laughed was the sounds that made everything perfect.

A few moments later, and the young guy that she holding so tight begun to disappear like a bubble that for an instant of time begun to burst.

She looked around but she could not see him anymore. The murky image of that young man immediately gone on her side.

She ran back and front but now she was alone walking and keeping her stepped toward the place that she never knew. She closed her eyes but as he blinked it she wake up with a place that we did not know yet.

There are beautiful and rare plants and animals who are happily living inside the wonder of the place. She walked around and enjoy every single time that she spend together with them.

Suddenly, she heard a voice that become music to the things that surrounded her. She looked around to find out where the magnificent voice coming from but nobody was there.

There were a lot of plants inside but one of them that caught her attention was the beautiful and one-of-a-kind tree that standing in the middle of everything. She want to go near it and to touch it with her bare hand, but before it happened everything changed. The dark clouds cover the sky, the bright moon spend a lot of time together with the magnificent tree, it lightened the whole forest. The animals shouted for joy, all flowers danced under the watchful gaze of the moon, the tree turned its color as red as the blood that seemed like falling in love to the moon above.

Celyn herself witnessed how wonderful the place was, she wanted to stay on it forevermore. She touched and picked all things that she wanted but most of the energy that surround her let her body get closer to the attractive tree that she saw for the very first time.

At that moment, Celyn made a couple of steps toward the tree. At first, she was hesitating, but her desire let it do for her. One steps more and she finally reached the place where the tree was standing. She saw entirely the beauty that it have, its vines were strong enough to tie the claw or Orion. The flowers that became its fruit bloomed and scattered all over the place. Its trunk was so great and every branch had leaves that could change its color. She wanted to pick any of those lovely leaves but at the time that she was about to pick it, the moon hid itself, the animals roared and the flowers stopped dancing. The sweet voice fades in the wind and all fancy things around was gone.

She stopped picking some leaves but it was already too late. The red leaves suddenly turned as black as the feather of the raven. Its scents smelled not good anymore and its vines had weakened. The trunk and branches seemed so dry and the leaves that they have slowly fell down the ground. She was afraid when it happened, she ran to stay away from the tree, she want to escape that situation but her power could not do anything to save her. She lost her control and she fell on the dry bushes, suddenly the darkness filled the whole forest.

She could not see anything but only the stroke of the thunder every time it hit the ground. She prayed that it would stop but no one heard her voice just the coldness and darkness were the things that listened to her that time. She cried for help but no voice calmed the storm around, a moment later and the loud sound was heard along that place..All animals that hiding themselves make a sound, they seemed like asking the new world for them. The cold breeze of the wind make Celyn stopped crying and she saw a bit of light that appeared from the dark. She looked at it and a few moments later and the heavy rain comes to the dark clouds above.

The new tree grew but it was much stronger than before. It was tall and have many branches too, its trunk was huge, and seemed like nobody could make it down even the thousand of the storm might be able to bring it down.

Its vines were not just a vine, they had thorns and no flower bloomed within it. The tree was terrible and much better than before but the beauty it had, faded and seemed like it was afraid of losing again its beauty and strength.

All leaves turned as black as the night and the roots holding the whole forest kept it on tight. All animals shouted for joy, all of them vowed and flowers bloomed without scents.

They were all empowered and no one could defeat them again. Celyn looked around, the place was horrible, there were wonders around instead of darkness. The moon was gone and its bright rays did not give any light to everything around.

Celyn stood for a while and find something that might help her to escape from the things that happened in that place where she was. Her face could not paint the situation that she witnessed. She bite her lower lips and stopped for a while because of tiredness and frightened but all she gonna do was to cry while staring at the situation that happened all around.

She ran as she could and ran in the direction that her foot brought her. The moon shone better and her frightened heart was replaced by joy as the clear sky appeared again.

It made everything alive again, the moon became brighter than before. It gives lights to every corner of the forest, accompanied by millions of stars. The horrible tree bloomed its flower once again and turned its leaves as red as the blood moon. The trunk was still strong but the branches were not good as before. Every detail became an untold story for Celyn but the most important was the forest that had a new life and returned the beauty that surrounding it.

A moment later and she felt that her soul was scaping to her body, she could not breath even moved so she take a long breath and prayed and for someone that may come to help her. With her sweat flowing down to her body, she could not explain what was the reason why it happened. The coldness of the surroundings embraced her in times that her breath was taken away.

She used her both hands to grope her breast but she could not make it pretty easy because even that time her hands were still shaking and she felt the sudden beating of her heart. Her sweats drenched her body.

Celyn closed her eyes and tears flowing down to her cheeks. She groped something and a mysterious sound was heard out of the mystery.

She wanted to shout but no voice wanted to escape to his mouth that seemed too dry. Her heart wanted to give up and the cold breeze embracing her a whole.

Kring!

The sound of her phone made her consciousness wake up. She opened her teary eyes and she could not believe that she might die because of the nightmare. She sat on her soft bed and she trying to overcome the fear that she experienced a moment ago.

The alarm clocked still snoozing and she took it and turned it off. She took her pillow and embraced it tightly, she closed her eyes and silently prayed for the glory of almighty for saving her out of the nightmare. She still remembered how that place showed her a journey that might kill her slowly. The beating of her heart accompanied the tickled of the clock.

She stared at her phone and it was already four in the morning, he fixed herself and stand for a while. She groped her pairs of slippers under her bed.

Celyn's beautiful face begun to felt something that could bring her to the world that she never encountered ever since.
