The Forbidden Forest

The First Step

They finished their lunch but the sun still shining. They were wondered why it never set, Jenny took her phone to know the time, but she was shocked as she noticed that it's already 6 in the afternoon and it's means that they travelled for almost 10 hours from their hometown to the destination that they were taken.

She sudden shook her head as she realized that they were never seen the sitting of the sun. For that reason, they would never know the exact location that they were go.

She sudden looked around but the sun enlighten the entire place that sorrounded them. . They waited the announcement of Ken to start their journey. Suddenly, they were heard a foot stepped coming toward them. Marcus looked at his back to know where the sound coming from. Jasmine billowed her shoulder as they notice that Claire was the responsible for that noise.

" What happened guys?" Claire said as she walked toward the three while rubbing her eyes.

As she continued she sat near at Marcus who was sitting at the front of Jenny. "The only thing I remembered is ... when Marcus bring me at my room and laid me at my bed when I highly in drunk..."Claire stated as she moved closer to Marcus.

Jenny felt the gritting of her teeth as he heard that things at Claire, she wanted to shout and walked out but she made herself in calm because she thought that she have no rights to jealous about that because Marcus and she was not a couple and they had no commitment to each other. She kept her emotion and she smile bitterly as she spoke.

" Ohh really Marcus?..." She asked and as she continued she sudden taunted her lips as she stared at Marcus who was stooping at the floor seemed like he was ashamed to Jenny.

" That's good!" Jenny continued.

"..." Marcus was speechless and he could not moved because of ashamed to what he did.

Claire smiled as she saw how Jenny wanted to go at the war that she wanted to start.

"Thank you for taking care of me Marcus..." Claire added while soothing the arms of Marcus.

Jenny was bursting in madness but she controlled what her emotion told her to do but the only thing that entered on her mind was not to tight back but to show Claire that she do not care about her.

Marcus stood quickly and walked away. He thought what would be the explanation that he going to tell if Jenny did not show any care about him. He felt that his heart falling into pieces as he thinking every thing that entered on his mind and heart.

" Where are you going Marc? Claire asked

Marcus stopped for a while but he did not looked back to see who was calling hi attention but he still continued his walking away from the three girls.

Jenny simply stared at Marcus who was disappeared to her eyes. Her heart beat fast but she still wearing her smiled as Claire smile toward her seemed like mocking her. Jasmine sudden laugh that only herself could heard as she witnessed how Jenny become great pretender and how Claire become a thorn to the neck of Jenny every time that they were on each other. They looked like raining cat and dogs as she saw how Jenny's eyes burning like a flame.

Claire took the glass of water that Marcus used a moment ago and drink the water inside. She biting her lips as her lips touched the edge of the glass owned by Marcus. Claire wanted to make Jenny to feel mad and stay away from Marcus so that she was the only woman that could made him fall in love.

Suddenly, out of the intense face off the two lady, Ken came wearing his smiled." Attention every one!" His voiced cut the silenced of the sorrounding as his voiced echoed at the entire room. Jenny, Jasmine and Claire stared at the common direction which Ken standing.

" Guys! Because the yatch stopped moving...this time is enough to let our aims to move forward!" Ken added.

They were all looked at Ken wondered.

" So what we gonna do now? Jasmine uttered.

Ken walked to the placed where Jasmine was. "We are now going out this placed to find something inside!" Ken pointing out the mountain that could be seen to the lower d**k of the yatch because of the glass window that covered it entirely.

Claire begun to felt excitement and she giggle for a sudden because the awaited time that she planned would be nearly to happened. They stood and went back to their room to take all their needed things to ensure that everything would set alright if they were inside the forest.

A moment ago and everything was fine. Marcus, Ken , jasmine, Jenny and Claire prepared themselves to the first stepped that they would do for their entire life.

They excitedly opened the exit door and the horizon meet them seemed like it welcome a things that might entered inside. The cold breeze were sudden touched their body and the blooming scent of a unknown things scented accompanied by the unseen wind.

They stepped at the huge rocks at the shore, they passed through the big to pebbles sized rocks that scattered all over the place. They were happily jumped to those things and they reached the edge of the shore which the pebbles become smaller and smaller like a dust at the ground. They made a first stepped at the forest as they reached the ground that 6 meters away from the shore.Their tiredness in jumping in a moment passed ago replaced by the good ambience of the greenery sorrounding that become more awesome as they saw the foot of the mountain entirely. The island seemed like common placed that they visit every time that they going to adventures like this. The plants were same to what they see before so they were felt that there would be any dangered that might happened as they walked further more.

Jenny was so happy enough because even she encountered many places before, she felt the awesome of the sorrounding that made her heart to fill with joy. Marcus looked at every side of the island. The bluish color of the sea and the green site of the mountain and the beautiful woman he saw at the distance were perfect invitation to him to confess his love.

Ken was still looking at his mini book to study the feature of the place and every plants that grow inside. Jasmine kept on capturing every single things that could catched her attention, out of the pebbles that scattered every where to the high peak of the mountain that covered by the clouds.

Everything was fine...

They walked miles away from the shore and they reached the common placed seemed like they were played by some element that living inside. Because they were all researcher and they were all believe in scientific study and theories, they do not mind the hearsay that there might be some elements that played their victim.

They were all tired enough walking and walking but the mountain that they saw a moment ago become farther and farther as they walked more distance.

They were all tired enough caused of the heavy burden and the distanced that they walked for almost an hour but they could not reached the forest that they wanted to see.

They sat at the roots of some trees and begun to lean their body to take some rest. Jenny was panting as she sat the roots,Marcus walked toward her and offered her some cold drinks. Jenny stared at Marcus and smile but she did not pay attention to the water that Marcus give on her.

Marcus wait a munites but he wasted his time when Jenny took her own bottle to drink. He bring back his bottle of water inside his bag and sat back to the huge roots at the left side of Jenny.

Ken and Jasmine were busy talking some theories that they could be considered that become a reason why they did not reached the forbidden forest. However, Claire fixed herself and out some beauty product on her face to make herself freshly looking good even she was tired to the long way that they taken .

When everything was fine, they continued their journey and they didn't pay any attention the wild animals that they encountered as they taking the trip toward the place that they desired to see.

Thorny bushes, deep ravine and some pointed rocks, those were the some thruimphs that they encountered as they continued their journey. Fortunietly, there were no any bad things happenned on them as they walking.at the jungle.

As they felt that thieir lungs given up, they stopped for a while to take some rest and after that,they were continued again what they started journey.

The sun never set and the air going colder as a winter season. Their gasping voiced told themselves that they were tired enough to start another distanced for a short period of time that they took a rest. Their throat going to feel dry and their sweat drenching out on their skin but immediately dried up as the cold breezed soothed their body.

Ken stood for a while and when he noticed that every one of his team member took their rest, he thought that it was enough to make another stepped toward the foot of the forbidden forest.

" Guys let's move! We need to go early at the foot of the mountain!" Ken voiced was quite harsh for his member as she spoke. But Marcus, Jenny, Jasmine and Claire have no time to complain because their desire made them to set aside their feeling and continued to push away themselves to another journey.

Moment later and they decided to follow Ken's all told and they quite took thei things and made a couple of steps toward the magnificent place they dreaming to see.

Another thorny and towering trees were welcome them as they reached the middle of the valley. They saw how perfectly beautiful the mountain that firmly stood at the middle of the wonder and power. The greenery site helped the to felt relaxed and forget the fatigue that they felt every stepped they made.

As they walked Jenny took her phone and looked on it, it's already 2 in the morning if she followed the time zone that her phone tell but as she looked around, the day was same as when they go out in the yatch and made a first stepped at the shore.

She billowed her shoulder and she was quite minded walking while looking around to saw something different that might become a part of their research.

Another stepped, another walked, and they were felt happy as they glanced the green mountain that almost kilometers away from the placed that they were standing. They could not felt even tiredness as they saw some rare animals that eating bushes at the placed that they were walking. All of them amazed because every details of the animals and even some plants were not easily to distinguished by any people, only God could make that awesome things that they never seen yet before.
