The Forbidden Forest

The Journey

Jenny and Marcus arrived at the university at exactly six in the morning. They went outside the car and left their baggage inside because they need to attend the meeting that Ken told them before.

Jenny walked toward the place where the meeting would hold and she did not attempt to wait for Marcus who was securing all things inside. She quickly walked without any words to say. She reached the place where Ken, Claire, and Jasmine sitting at the long table at the middle part of the huge convention room. She heard the loud announcement of Ken who where standing at the front of Jasmine and Claire so she silently walked toward the the three and sat at the chair next to Jasmine.

She smiled as Jasmine stared at her and give her hands to Jasmine as she wanted to know her more. Claire sudden glanced at her and smiled bitterly. Claire looked at the door and she saw Marcus coming over them. She fixed herself and took the mirror inside her bag and she stared on her reflecti Ion to notice how she look that time.

Marcus looked for an chair that might far from Claire but the vacant seat was only at Claire's side because there were only five chair that exactly place around the long table. Claire billowed her left eyebrow while staring at Jenny as she know that Marcus had no choices than picking up the chair besides her. Marcus have nothing to do rather than sitting, but before that, he moved the chair three meters away from Claire.

The three girls were focused on the speaker while Marcus still secretly staring at Jenny in sudden. Out from the board that placed at the front of the room, the glimes on lights form a golden flower. Jenny focused on the screen that shown the portrayial image of the flower that they needed to find. Ken pressed the button of the remote control and show what were the major characteristics that the flower had.

Jasmine was amazed as she saw how magnificent the flower was. Her eyeglasses were brighten by the color of that beautiful and one of a kind flower. The golden five petals and the stigma which had golden pollen grains caught the attention of anybody who might see it closer.The flower was not the same to the other flower that could be seen around this world.

Ken sudden caught the attention of eyes and ears of his listener as he cut in the silence of the sorrounding.

"Ladies and gentleman, my pleasure to be with you today and now I'm so happy because all of our effort and hope will be come true... We know how our groups experience some down and fall but we still pursuing our passion and being hardworkers to the research that we want to know... And now I gladly to tell that by the helped of our almighty, our journey to the forbidden forest to find this flower had been approved!"

Jenny smiled as he heard the announcement of Ken about their trip, they were all made a round of aploused to that good news.

As Ken walked around and pressed again the remote control," however, all we know how we trying hard to make it and..." As he continued, he clicked the right button of the controller and a background study about that flower emerged at the huge screen at the front of four.

"This flower was bloomed every hundred years, and the last bloomed of that flower was become the hearsays so... and by my calculation, ten days from now, the flower will bloomed again , basically we have time to explore more and also to find more things that able to become a part of our research" Ken added with excitement.

However Marcus was not convinced to what Ken said and he shrinked his forehead before he asked somethings.

"Ken! How if your calculation failed?" Marcus asked with doubt. The three girls sudden stopped for a while as they heard that question coming from Marcus.

And when Ken heard that words, he billowed his eyebrow toward Marcus and he had ashamed to the three lady who were seemed like making agreement to what Marcus told a moment ago.

"Marcus, ladies, my calculation is based on our background study and I had nothing to tell about this if I'm wrong at my observation... So, I'm responsible for this that's why I need to make my part as a leader and also a friend to all of you... If everyone of you had doubt, I'll show you my calculation of years and days" Ken stated.

The calculation of years that Ken made become a thing that considered as a better way to enact a good point to what Ken's plan.

The three ladies nods their heads as they noticed how Ken made a better calculation and they were all not worried about the failure that might happen for their research study.

"And now! Guys, the awaited time will happen and I supposed that every one of you prepared your things to bring and used on our trip, the yatch is ready and all of you bring your things at the Port where the yacth waiting us...see you again guys and that's all... good luck! Meeting dismiss." Ken stated

As the three heard that last message of Ken, they clap again their hands that echoed at the entirely of the room. After that moment, they all stood and go to the placed where they were before.

Ken walked out the room and Claire followed him as being his assistant. While Marcus waited Jenny to go outside because she was talking the new member Jasmine. They shaked their hands as being a signed of friendship. Jasmine was so glad as she noticed that Jenny was a good woman and they were become friend for a short period of time. They were made a couple of steps away from the long table and Marcus followed them outside.

They reached the hallway and Jasmine told to Jenny that she need to prepare her things to bring on the trip and Jenny agree to what Jasmine told to her. They waved their hands as Jasmine rides in the car and went to the yatch at the Port.

Marcus and Jenny were still quite as they walked toward the car. When they reach the car, Marcus opened the right door and waited Jenny to go inside after he closed it.

They arrived at the Port and they took a kilometers away from the university to go at the transportation that they would used at the forbidden forest.

Marcus still quite minded and thinking all things that Ken made a moment passed ago, he had some suggestion but he have no time to explain because he had no right to cut in the planned that Ken's made.

Jenny felt like Marcus had deeply thought about something so she let him to think more instead of talking him and made disturbance.

They passed some tall buildings and few trees that built and grows around their hometown. Over and over, the huge building become fewer and fewer. The humid air that she felt sudden become cold. She looked outside and she wondered how good the place they were go.

"Toooott...toootttt." The sound of her phone sudden catch her imagination.

She notice that Celyn calling her, and she picked the car to answer Celyn from the other line.

"Jen, are you going to the trip?" Celyn asked from the another line. Jenny smiled as she notice how Celyn become good friend.

"Actually we are still riding in the car of..M-marcus toward the Port where the yatch waiting, anyway..." Jenny responded with embarasment because she was with Marcus that time.

"Ohh good to hear Jen, anyway take care and I will wait you to come and always check the battery of your phone so ...you know..capturing something inside hehehe." Celyn stated with excitement.

"Hahaha." Jenny could not restrain in laughing as she heard that words from Celyn." Okay okay!" Jenny responded

"Ahmmmm Jen, please make sure that you will take care your self... There are bats and some creatures inside the forest and all I want is the safety of our team" Celyn stated with worried.

"It's okay Celyn, we had enough knowledge about something .and I will take care myself, ahmmm also Marcus is here to guide and protect me!" Jenny responded

Marcus smiled as he heard that words from Jenny. He thought that Jenny trusted him so she had no things to worried I'd he was always at the back of Jenny to guide her inside the forest where they were going.

Celyn sudden cut the conversation of them as she heard the boiling of her water at the kitchen." Jasmine, I had things to do...ahmm good luck both of you and ....byeeeeee!" Celyn uttered.

The phone sudden end the call. After a moment of pause the sound of the ships were heard along the way toward the port area.

They heard some cars that stopped at the front of them and turned left to the parking lot. Marcus followed the car of Jasmine and he break the car slowly.

They were go outside and they saw Ken once again." Prepare all your packs and our journey will happened!"

Everyone of them were excited and wanted to explore again to the new worlds that they did not know better. They were happily took all their packs and some coast guard help them to take all their things inside the yatch. Marcus secured all their things and followed Jenny toward the yatch.

Everything was fine and all of them were prepared. Ken and Claire were the first who rides the yatch followed by Jasmine, Jenny and Marcus.

The entire placed where seen as they all at the top of the yatch. The greenery site and the bluish wave that toast in the ocean made everything in calm. When they were completely rides inside, the yatch moved slowly and sudden become faster and faster.

Jenny stood at the top placed inside to see the beauty that sorrounded them that time. She opened her arms and felt the cold breeze that touched her body and soul. Far away, Jasmine was sitting at the bench and drinking some beverage that served on the table. Marcus was looking at Jenny while thinking all happy moments that they might cherished as they go at the awaited forbidden forest.

The clear sky and the beauty of the paradise faced them as the yacth traveled at long distance far away from the city. Almost an hour they spent in taking their journey at the middle of the unknown paradise that hook their eyes every time that they give a glanced toward them. All were happy and excited to witnessed that hidden mystery that lies inside the Forbidden forest.
