The Forbidden Forest

First Night

They reached the foot of the mountain after a long distance of walking toward the forest. As they stepped the entrance, they felt that their strength were scaping out to their body. They immediately find something that could be their place to take some rest. Celyn felt something strange around because as the sun sitting at the West, there were some unexplainable things happened inside her body. She felt that she could heard the breeze that passed through her ears. The leaves that fell from the tree seemed like dying one who begging for another chance to live. Suddenly, she heard some stepped coming toward her. She looked around with fear but she could not see anything around that could be the responsible for that kind of creepy sound.. Celyn stopped for a while and used her both hands to cover her ears to avoid herself to hear the echoing sound that produced by the thousand of stepped that could be compared as a million of knights that ready themselves for the war.

"Bhooooo... Bhooooo... Bhooo...!" That echoing sound become a treat to Celyn to scream because even how many tries that she made to cover her ears, the sound getting louder and louder like a roaring thunder and roar that strike everywhere.

"Ahhhhhhhggggghhh!" She screamed while covering her ears. That moment, Diana and the three others were walking three meters away from her. As they heard the screamed of Celyn, they immediately turned back to know why did Celyn made a noise behind them. They were see Celyn bowing her head and covered up her ears while screaming so loud. " Celyn what happened?" Diana asked wandered why Celyn screaming so loud. Celyn remains covering her ears and spoke with trembled sound. "I-I h-heard something! D-do you hear that?"

As she about to tell, she slowly opened her eyes and stared to Diana and the other two who still empty minded on what Celyn wanted to convey. "What?, Celyn!" Diana said. "Guys! We need to go out in this damn forest! W-we need to go before the moon shine above...the leaves are tell us to go away because the darkness will filled this forest!" She stated. Will walked toward Celyn and said, "Celyn there is no sound, there is no danger, everything you heard is just a haluccination!"

His words was quite harsh to Celyn and she cried. She could not believe that she was the only one who heard the sound of the environment. She felt something that so different from her troupe.

Brian was pity for Celyn and he walked toward Celyn and soothed her back. " Celyn, be calm... there is nothing that may happen on us if we protected each other." Brian calmly proclaimed.

Celyn embraced Brian's body and feel the warm that he had. She continued crying and the sound of the unknown things were still telling her some words that she did not understand.

" Guys, Celyn needed some rest, and all we need to do is to take a rest and wait for the dawn before we continued our journey to look for the Jenny and her research team." Diana said.

"No!" Celyn screamed briefly. The three looked at each other while wandering why. "What is wrong Celyn?" Diana asked.

" I told you that we need to go out early as we can. I cannot bare on my mind if one of us will set in harm." She uttered.

Will stared at Celyn and said, " Celyn, if we go back, the entire forest will be darken so there is tendency that we may lost our way back!" Brian sat beside Celyn and spoke calmly. "Celyn, Will is right, all we gonna do is to wait till the dawn came because if we force ourself to go back, the dark will overfilled in this forest that may be the reason to lost our way." He explained. As Celyn heard that explanation she reluctantly agreed and said." Okay, but...mark my words." She briefly uttered.

Diana from the left side of Will started to pack her things and find some woods that she might use in building the tent because out of their troupe only Brian brought tent and there was only two person occupied of one tent. "Celyn, Diana you can used my tent and I'll will sleep at the huge roots of those towering trees." Brian said. Celyn smile and helped Diana building the tent. A moment passed and the tent was already done. They put all those things inside and the rest space would be the sleep area for the two ladies. Will and Brian were prepared their beds under the trees near the tent. A moment later and the moon appeared. The crescent moon shone in the clear sky beautified by the million of stars that glittering above.

Celyn was timid went inside the tent. She laid and think everything she heard. She thought that she was paranoid and no one wanted to hear her nonsense story. She close her eyes and she sudden felt that there were something near them.

Her ears were attentive and every sounds that the nature produced entered on her ears. She sat and opened the tent window, she looked around and felt the cold breeze touching her body.

As she looked around, the only thing she saw was darkness that filled the entire forest. Suddenly, she heard the three talking to each other. Celyn fixed herself and go out to joined the conversation of the other three.

"We need to find some woods to make a burnfire." Will uttered. "I will find some woods around to use just wait for me." Brian proclaimed. Brian walked away and he swallowed by the darkness around. The only light that enlighten his way was the mini flashlight. He immediately disappreard. " Where he going?" Celyn asked seemed like she did not know what happening around to jump in the conversation of Will and Diana. " Ahmm he gathering some woods to make fire." Diana responded. Celyn nods her head as she heard the utterance of Diana.

She sat near the fire to warm herself. Moment later and she suddenly felt the wind blowing her mind. She looked around and she saw Diana and Will toasting a hotdog and marshmallow and they happily talking together. She did not know what she felt but she did not mind it as a thought that Diana bad Will would never her attention for her story. She stood and walked away to the two. She made a couple of step and she finally reached the beautiful gazing stars. Suddenly those star moves and flew toward her. She widen her eyes as she saw how those star move toward her.

" What the?, I think they are star but they are only a fireflies!" She muttered as she realized that the star was only a thousand of fireflies that so huge enough that could be compared as marbles. She enjoyed watching the fireflies that dancing in the dark while the moon shone accompanied by real and twinkling star.

She forget her fear and she kept on staring at those fragile creatures. Suddenly, while she enjoying the view she felt that her chest was aching. She touched it and felt why it aching but as she touched it, it suddenly gone. She thought that it just might be a panting of breath or just a air that entered her lungs that made her chest to ache. She continued watching those creatures and her beauty was shown as those fireflies flew around her seemed like they wanted to dance with Celyn. Her rosy cheeks and red as a blood lips were beautified her match with her black long hair that swayed every time the wind blown on he face. She smiled and the diamond of her face were seen that white as a milk. She was beautiful as the crescent moon that met Venus in the first dark night.
