I woke up with a feeling of slight discomfort under my stomach, I sigh knowing why and frankly speaking, not looking forward to it. I walked down the plight of stairs and into the kitchen, I sat on the chair behind the counter regretting waking up earlier than usual.
"what is that horrible thing you're wearing? " I hear Abdulaziz ask pointing at my sponge Bob pj's.
"ugh shut up will you? my head hurts and you screaming doesn't help at all." I say slowly with venom dripping in my voice.
"your hair looks like a bird nest" he add scrunching his nose in disapproval.
I stood up and walked to the mirror in the kitchen to inspect my hair, I opened my eyes wide and let out a soundless scream in surprise. My hair was messy and was sticking out in different directions, my eyes looked sagged with black bags under them indicating I needed more sleep, my lips were bruised and slightly sore due to me hitting it when I fell off the bed.
"yup that's how bad you look." Abdulaziz added taking a sip of his lime tea.
"shut up, I'm probably having those days when things just doesn't go my way. " I replied adjusting my hair in a messy bun
He chuckled lightly shaking his head " if you say so, I'll be in the living room if you need me." he says tapping his hand on the cup and smirking.
"hey." I called and he slowly turn to look at me.
"my friend is coming over today, just thought I should tell you at least." I say fumbling with my fingers.
"sure, it's good she's coming. But....... I kindly advise you to think about what we talked about yesterday night. "he mumble placing his tea cup on the kitchen counter and taking a step closer to me.
I sigh and blew the hair lingering on my forehead" I need time Abdulaziz, I need time ."
He nod stepping forward as his intoxicating scent engulf me, he place a kiss on my cheeks and pull away smiling. "don't take too long, I'm slowly going crazy over you." he adds with a sadistic look in his eyes.

"no way!" my friend Aliyah squealed when I told her about Abdulaziz and his little proposal.
" yes way, and he's actually serious. I really don't know what to do. " I answered slightly frustrated.
" I say go for it, try and see where things go, I mean have you seen the guys face? I practically drooled when he smiled at me a while ago." she says sighing dreamily.
"but this is supposed to be a revenge plan, remember?" I ask her with a 'duh' tune in my voice.
"who said it wasn't? It's like hitting two birds with the same stone i***t. " she answers rolling her eyes.
I stare at her and my mind wondered to how we first met. When I first left the country I traveled to UK first, there I started taking business classes and it so happens she was there too. Ever since then We've been close, no we've been best friends.
I sigh in defeat "fine, I'll think about it, happy?" I asked sounding bored
" overjoyed! " she answers clapping her hands like a little girl.

Abdulaziz pov
This past few days hasn't been easy, all I try to do is make up for my foolish past but suhaiba isn't complying with me. All I want her to do is try and see where things go, but she's always running away from my questions or ignoring my side comments. I shake my head slightly annoyed and losing my patience, I don't know why I suddenly feel things for her, and I'm not sure if its a good idea to. I notice how quite the house was except groans that were coming from suhaib's room. ' what the hell is going on?' I asked myself as I walk up the stairs and into the room.
I froze on the spot when I saw suhaiba curled in a ball, as drop of sweats run down her forehead. She was in pain, she clutched her stomach with one hand while the other pulled on her hair to lessen the pain. I ran to her and engulf her in my arms.
"what's wrong? What happened?" I asked panicking
"i-its that time o-f the month." she answered clutching my shirt.
It suddenly made sense why she was that way, I hear her release a painful groan and I immediately turn to her.
"what am I supposed to do? How do I make you feel batter?" I ask feeling helpless.
" i-i n-need A hot water bottle, green tea and feldene (painkiller) from the pharmacy." she answered her words barely audible.
" l need to go buy them, but I can't leave you alone at home, I'll have to take you with me." I say getting up and opening her drawer pulling out a hijab and helping her wear it.
I carried her bridal style to the car and place her on the passengers seat, I tuck her seat belt in before stumbling to my side and getting in. I drove off in a hurry to get the items she needed.

I drove to the nearest Dollar pharmacy and stormed in, there the cashier was quick to attend to me.
"uh I need a hot water bottle, feldene and green tea please." I hurriedly say.
"which kind of green tea sir? With Honey, lemon, mint or just green tea sir ?" he asked me with an all knowing look.
"mint, and make it snappy please." I mumble rudely.
"that would be 12,500 Naira sir." he asked politely. I hand him 13,000 and told him to keep the change rushing out with the items.
I rush back to the car to find suhaiba in pain as tears roll Down her cheeks.
"don't worry, it'll me over soon." I say holding her hand.

Immediately we came back home, I took her upstairs to her room and ran down to the kitchen. I soaked the green tea with hot water in the tea cup, and grabbed a glass of water. I rushed back to her as I hand her the tablet to swallow and literally forced her to drink the green tea. I picked the hot water bottle and filled it with hot water from the bathroom before placing it on her hypogastric region (under her stomach)
I held her in my arms and pressed down on the hot water bottle, knowing if I just kept it there, she'll probably roll over And it'll fall off. After a while, Her breath changed from rugged and harsh, to calm and slow indicating she was asleep. I rest my back on the headboard slowly afraid I'd wake her up, I sat there for sometime before sleep finally overtook me.

I woke up early to find suhaiba sleeping soundly, her breathing was stable and her temperature was back to normal. I slowly exit the room going into mine and taking a hot shower, I then changed into a V-neck T-shirt and basketball shorts. I padded my way down stairs to eat breakfast before going into the living room to watch TV. About 2 hours later suhaiba walked into the living room all dressed up like nothing happened at all. I turn to look at her with a smug look on my face.
"what? If you're waiting for a thank you, you've got something coming your way cause I'm not saying it." she comments folding her arms on her chest. I shake my head smiling at her words and childish gesture, I turn back to continue watching Dr Strange.
"hey." she calls form behind me, I turn my head to look at her retreating figure.
"thank you. " she added with a smile backing away into the kitchen. I laugh and shake my head, she sure is cute sometimes.
