I felt so nervous as we drove to Abdulaziz parents place,His dad told us to come see him, he said he wanted to talk to us. I'm sure it's about his son's treachery. I looked over at Abdulaziz and he was way nervous than i was, I don't blame him his dad wouldn't see him since he returned, this must be nerve wrecking for him. I can't say he doesn't deserve it. I wonder why my parents are there as well? is it possible that they're gonna ask him to divorce me? Not that i care but my revenge that I've been planning for 2 years would've been ruined. I didn't seem to care though. 

"by the way if my parents ask how I've been treating you, please say something good." He pleaded 

"you're not worth lying for, I'll say the truth and nothing but the truth, So be prepared." My cold voice answered, I could see him glaring at me by the conner of my eyes. "is there something you'd like to say?"

"nope, nothing just driving and minding my business." He stares as a matter of fact 

"as if, I wish you were." I roll my eyes at him, The rest of the drive went by quietly..

We finally stopped in front of his place and got off the car, I adjusted my big veil that was falling off. Yes yes I was wearing a red, white and a touch of brown atanfa, with a huge red veil and golden colored earnings and bangles.

I wanted to look like a housewife in front of my parents. If only they know how I treat him, I'm sure my dad would disown me if he finds out.

I stepped into the beautiful living room that I haven't seen for two years now, My mother in law is an interior decorator so trust me when I tell you she has impeccable taste. "ya suhaiba?" I heard a squeal coming from behind me. I turn to see Amina, Abdulaziz younger sister, she was all grown up. She rushed to me pulling me into a hug. After Abdulaziz left two years ago I stayed here for a bit and during that time Amina and I became close. 

"oh you look nice" I stared at her in her long golden dress with a bit of black on the sleeve, Small black stones covered the front of the dress and a matching headgear, with a simple averaged size earring, she looked magnificent. Her makeup was on fleek and her huge smile made her look prettier. 

"thank you." she replied shyly. "going somewhere?" I asked arching my eyebrow. she nod in anticipation " I'm going out with my friends in 30 minutes, just thought I should see you first before leaving." I smiled at her " thank you, your brother is outside contemplating weather to come in or not." an evil smile escaped her lips "serves him right, weather he likes it or not he must come in. He can't say no to baba can he? Just let him be for the min time." 

We sat there and chat with her until her friends finally called her that they were here and she left, Not long after Amina left Abdulaziz came in. 

"are they still in there discussing?" He shakily asked 

"yup, they haven't called on us yet so they probably haven't"

"this is so frustrating, waiting for them." He paced looking paranoid 

"well we made them wait for two years, the least we can do is wait for few hours."

He nod agreeing to what I was saying.

After an hour our parents joined us in the living room, we bent down and greeted them with oath most respect. 

"it's been a while since I've seen you suhaiba, the last time I saw you was when you stayed here after my irresponsible son left." Babe answered my greeting with a small smile 

"indeed it's been a while, I hope your doing well?"

"that's hard giving the fact that my son has taken it upon himself to embarrass me." He snapped glaring at the person sitting next to me, Abdulaziz head was down the whole time 

"so I and your mother came here to talk to your in laws about the two of you, Its been hectic for all of us, your drama is disgracing our families." My dad mumbled sternly 

"that's true, everyone knows about your drama, it's from one thing to another. I didn't raise you that way suhaiba." Mother agreed grimly 

"that's where you're wrong, your daughter is a very responsible woman. And none of this is her fault, all this is the fault of that stupid excuse she calls a husband. He has put us all to shame, I can't even hold my head up High." His mom defended me 

"indeed he has made thins difficult for us, we didn't raise you this way. The most annoying part about all this is the girl you ran away with is way smarter than you are, At least she asked her father's permission before leaving and was smart enough to trick you into quitting your job so her brother could replace you." His dad shook his head in disappointment Abdulaziz head snap up immediately he heard that, something is telling me there's more to it than we know. 

"I'm so sorry, I was irresponsible and stupid." His shaky grim voice begged

"that you are. Regardless suhaiba we want to implore you not to leave him, We want you two to make things work, i know it's difficult for you. But after discussing it we thought it would be better if you two get separated, everything is your choice though . As for you Abdulaziz I don't ever want to see you again." His dad hissed 

"same goes for me, I don't want to see you again until you've changed and repented" his mom agreed with a painful look In her eyes. I turn to look at Abdulaziz and his eyes were looking so sad and hurt, tears were threatening to spill out of them. I can't believe what I'm about to do, I must be very stupid.... 

"mama he really has changed, this past few days I've been back, he's been on his toes trying to make it up to me. That's why I've decided to stay with him." 

"I'm so glad to her that" my dad seemed to relax a bit at the sound of that 

"you should Thank God that she's standing up for you, I'm happy you're being mature about this." His dad complimented me, They all got up and were about to leave when Abdulaziz walked up to his dad " baba I would like to speak with you." his dad looked at him for few seconds before replying. "I won't see you this week, you can come see in 2 weeks." he nod understanding his father's words..

Our way home was really awkward, his face was laced with anger, hurt and contempt. His hands grabbed the steering wheel so tight his knuckles turned white 

"you can't even say thank you can you?" I tired pushing his buttons 

"thank you for helping me." He tried to sound as normal as possible, And that was it, he didn't say a word, something must have happened. Could it be something that baba said earlier?. I didn't ask though, we just sat in awkward silence.

We arrived home, and immediately he parked the car he rushed into the house leaving the car open. "What's up with him?" I removed the key from the ignition before closing the door and locking the car. I walked into the living room and saw him pacing the room while he dialed a number. What is going on? 

Abdulaziz 

i couldn't believe it, hadiza tricked me. I was waiting for her to answer my call. "hello" her voice rang in my ear 

"hadiza?"

"baby you haven't called me in forever, I missed you so much." Her whiny voice called 

"so you've been lying to me all this time?" I got straight to the point 

"what are you talking about?" Her confused voice angering me more 

"you told me to go with you, you said you left your dad without saying goodbye because of me. You made me abandon my family and job because I thought you did the same for me. I'm not annoyed about losing my job because I already got scouted by another company, what hurts is that you lied to me. In the end, you used me to get a position for your brother in the company I worked in didn't you?" I screamed in anger feeling the rage boil in my blood

"Abdulaziz I can explain, my dad brought the idea that I leave with you so my brother could get the position in the company, So I thought it was hitting two birds with one stone,Please try to understand me." Her disgusting voice plead 

"there's nothing to understand hadiza, I don't ever want to see you or hear from you, we're done!" I end the call and smash my phone against the wall angrily, women are Hippocrates. She really is something, she's been looking right at my face and lying to me for 2 years. 

I turn to see suhaiba starring at me, her face laced with confusion and pity. I looked away from her, I felt like an i***t. In the end i left her for a girl who used me to her advantage, it was so embarrassing. I picked the car key from the center table and rushed out of the house. I can't let her see me this way.

I was driving around town trying to get my thoughts straight, I was hurting so bad. I know I look like I don't care but I really loved hadiza, she was my everything. I made my way home and immediately I got in I sat on the rug resting my back on the couch. The pain i felt was indescribable, I felt fears roll down my cheek, and at my weakest moment suhaiba walked in on me. 

"Abdulaziz are you okay?" Her soft voice drift through my ears, I felt more Hurt by the question and the tears wouldn't stop. She sat beside me rubbing my back slowly. 

"sometimes the people closest to us hurt us, the only thing we can do is try to move one and make better choices." She advised, She hugs me consoling me, and the more she did that the more I let it go. 

"I've been with her for 10 years." I confess "I thought it was 4?" Her surprised voice asked 

"it's 10,i say 4 because she told me to. I've been through thick and thin with her,why would she do that to me?" I stare up at her confusion clear in my eyes 

"sometimes we act without reason. Just get yourself together, that's the best revenge." She comforts me, She pulls away and smile at me before walking out of the living room. And for the first time in 2 years I regret leaving her, because I realized how good of a woman she is....... 

Suhaiba pov

I walk into my room to find my phone ringing, I picked it up and it was Ya salim's call. I answered it immediately ..... 

"suhaiab what is this drama am hearing about Abdulaziz? You know it's Malam ladi who reported him to your in laws right? I wonder how he knew about hadiza's betrayal?" The suspicion clear on his voice.

I know you're wondering who malam ladi is, he's an old man who suck up to rich people, he also gossips a lot and knows everything about the families of they rich. 

I chucked humorously "of course I know, I paid malam ladi to tell my in laws about hadiza. I planned the whole thing...."
