Leon's dazzling sports car was scratched with a long mark, obviously deliberately done. Leon looked at the arrogant scratch and couldn't help but feel annoyed. Unfortunately, he parked in a blind spot of the surveillance camera, making it almost impossible to find the culprit.
The administrator advised him seriously, "Hey, just accept your bad luck. What can you do when you encounter someone jealous of your wealth these days? Besides, you can afford such a good car, do you really care about the cost of repairs?"
Leon waved his hand to stop him. "Enough, sir. If you continue, I'll really get angry. I'm leaving now."
Furious, Leon thought to himself that it had been a troublesome morning, all because of Oliver.
Not wanting to go home, with his friends still asleep or not available to hang out, and nowhere else to go, Leon drove to the equestrian center.
After changing into riding gear and leading out a horse, Leon immediately regretted his decision, regretting it to the core.
He had come to the equestrian center to relieve his frustrations, but seeing the horses there only made him feel even more frustrated. It was because Oliver was the one who had taught him how to ride in the first place.
They had just met not long ago when Leon followed a group of rich second generation classmates to a gathering and happened to run into Oliver. Oliver sat quietly in a corner of the private room, looking out of place among the group. Thinking that Oliver didn't enjoy this kind of occasion, Leon went over to chat with him out of kindness. They talked about various topics and ended up discussing horseback riding. Leon said with envy, "If only I could ride a horse like those heroes in TV shows, adventuring on horseback and wielding a sword."
Oliver smiled and said, "That's simple. I'll take you to learn horseback riding tomorrow."
Leon thought it was a joke, but the next day Oliver actually took him to the equestrian center. They went from one horse stable to another, and finally, due to Leon being a beginner, Oliver helped him choose a young white horse. As Leon stood beside the horse, their eyes met, and he had no idea who was more nervous.
Oliver chose a tall and majestic horse for himself, making the little white horse look like a toy in comparison. Oliver leaned over the horse's back, squinting at Leon with a smile that resembled peach blossoms in April, causing Leon to become infatuated.
Nervously mounting the horse, Leon squeezed its sides and it took off, making Oliver's heart beat faster from the excitement. In the end, when Leon dismounted, his legs were weak and he stared at Oliver, tears glistening in his eyes. This made Oliver burst into laughter and tease him, "Luckily I picked a small horse for you, otherwise I wouldn't know how to bring you back."
Embarrassed and determined, Leon made up his mind to become the best in equestrian sports.
Eventually, Oliver dismounted and stood upright with legs close together, stroking the sleek and shiny coat of the horse. He invited Leon, "Come here, ride up, I'll lead you in front."
Leon felt a warm aura emanating from Oliver, bewitching him. Submissively, he straddled the horse, and the hooves tapped rhythmically, eager to move forward.
Oliver gently caressed the horse's head, and once Leon settled in, he led the horse with the rein, taking a leisurely walk around the training area. They walked so slowly that Leon could rest his chin on his hand and absentmindedly gaze at Oliver.
At that time, he thought, this person is really good-looking, really gentle, it would be great if he could look at him for a lifetime.
It was precisely because of this thought that when he learned that Oliver had approached him with ulterior motives, Leon collapsed and gave up everything, becoming a worthless person as a matter of course.
