As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Naehi stood up, her legs trembling with emotion. She took a deep breath, letting the salty air fill her lungs, and began to walk back to Lady Nahum's residence. With each step, Naehi felt a sense of determination rising within her. She would face the competition head-on, and she would win. She would prove to herself and to the world that she was strong, capable, and worthy of love and respect. Naehi's thoughts turned to Lady Nahum, who had taken her under her wing and shown her kindness and compassion. She knew that Lady Nahum believed in her, and that gave her the strength to keep going. As Naehi approached Lady Nahum's residence, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but she was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. Naehi made up her mind to get ready for anything that was about to happen to her. She couldn't stop thinking about her encounter with Prince Zoe. She was sure that fate had brought them together, and that their meeting was a sign of better things to come. According to their agreement, Naehi and Prince Zoe met at the beach the next day. As the evening approached, Naehi dressed beautifully, applying makeup and perfume. She pinned her hair with hairpins, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness. She didn't understand why she was doing all this, but she couldn't help herself. When she arrived at the beach, she was surprised to see Prince Zoe already there, surrounded by palace maids, eunuchs, and guards. Naehi's heart skipped a beat as she walked towards Prince Zoe, smiling. She bowed down, greeting him with respect. Prince Zoe smiled back, his eyes shining with happiness. He signaled to his attendants to leave, and they quickly dispersed. Prince Zoe took Naehi's hand, and they began to stroll around the beach. Naehi started a conversation, her voice barely above a whisper. "My lord, I wonder how someone like you, with your high position, can walk around the city and play with nature." Prince Zoe sighed, his eyes filled with sadness. "My dear Naehi, although I'm a prince, I'm not always willing to live that way. I love to make my life simple. I hate the palace politics and feel like I can just leave the palace one day and live with those I love. To me, the palace is always a burden and hell." Naehi was confused by Prince Zoe's words, but she listened intently. "But my lord, how can you say the palace is tough for you? How can the queen, your mother, allow you to leave the palace at any time?" Prince Zoe's eyes filled with tears, and his voice cracked. "That's why I said the palace is tough for me. I lost my mother at a very young age. She was the only love of my life, and my life has been filled with sadness since she left." Naehi's heart went out to Prince Zoe, and she hugged him, resting her head on his shoulder. She began to sing, her voice filled with emotion. "My lord, you have to be happy... my poor soul is weary... your mother cries, please be happy." Prince Zoe noticed the change in Naehi's voice and held her hand. "Thank you, Naehi." They sat down, and Prince Zoe took Naehi's hand, his eyes filled with love and compassion. Naehi felt a sense of peace wash over her, and she knew that she had found a true friend. Over the next seven days, Naehi and Prince Zoe met secretly at the beach. They spent their days playing, laughing, and getting to know each other. Prince Zoe taught Naehi how to swim, and they spent hours splashing in the waves. They ate delicious meals together and drank from coconut shells. As the days turned into weeks, Naehi and Prince Zoe's affection for each other grew stronger. They would dance in the rain, and play games until the sun went down. Prince Zoe even invited drummers to play for them, and they would dance under the stars. But as the eighth day approached, Naehi's anxiety grew. She knew that her fate would be decided soon, and she was scared of what the future held. On the eighth day, Naehi and Prince Zoe met at the beach, their hearts heavy with emotion. They spent the day playing, but the atmosphere was tense. Naehi wore a short, flowing dress, and Prince Zoe wore a simple, white tunic. As they sat together on a mat under a tree, Naehi turned to Prince Zoe, her eyes shining with tears . "My lord, I don't know if we will stay long before we depart. I'm already liking you, and I must say I love you. But I'm scared something is about to separate us soon." Prince Zoe's eyes filled with surprise, and he took Naehi's hand. "What do you mean, Naehi?" Naehi sniffled, tears streaming down her face. "My lord, I'm a slave from the Akua Slaves camp. Tomorrow, the king will be selecting and returning some of us back to the camp. I'm scared I will be chosen and returned to the camp, and I'll lose you." Prince Zoe's was surprised to hear that Naehi was a slave his face fell, and he pulled Naehi into his arms. "Naehi, please don't cry. I won't let you go back to the camp. I'll do everything in my power to keep you safe." Naehi burst into tears, and Prince Zoe held her tightly. They sat together, holding each other, as the sun began to set. As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Prince Zoe pulled back and looked into Naehi's eyes. "Naehi, I love you. I won't let anything happen to you." Naehi's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Prince Zoe's eyes. She saw the love and determination there, and she knew that she had found her soulmate. Naehi's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Prince Zoe's eyes. She knew that she wanted to be with him too. They made love, their bodies entwined as they kissed and touched each other. Naehi felt a sense of pleasure and happiness that she had never felt before. His voice was low and husky. "Naehi, from the moment I met you, I knew you were different. You light up my world in ways I never thought possible." Naehi's heart skipped a beat. No one had ever spoken to her like that before. She felt a flutter in her chest as Prince Zoe's eyes drew her in. He took a step closer, his face inches from hers. "I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy, Naehi. I want to wake up every morning with you by my side." Naehi's lips parted, inviting Prince Zoe's kiss. Their lips met, and a spark of electricity ran through her body. Prince Zoe's arms wrapped around her, pulling her close as they deepened the kiss. As they kissed, Prince Zoe's hands roamed over Naehi's body, sending shivers down her spine. Naehi's hands explored Prince Zoe's chest, feeling the muscles beneath his skin. Their kiss grew more passionate, their bodies swaying to the rhythm of the waves. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the passion of the moment. Prince Zoe's lips trailed down Naehi's neck, sending shivers down her spine. Naehi's hands tangled in Prince Zoe's hair, pulling him closer. As Naehi spoke, her voice trembled, and tears streamed down her face. "My lord, please, you must forget me forever. Don't forgive me for leaving you and breaking your heart. I only accepted your love because I wanted to experience it one last time before I'm returned to the s*****y camp tomorrow." Prince Zoe's eyes widened in despair as he listened to Naehi's words. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her. With a swift motion, he grabbed her hand, pulling her back onto the seat. "My dear Naehi, please, you can't leave me," Prince Zoe pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion. "I'll do everything in my power to keep you by my side." As they sat together, their faces inches apart, the air was charged with tension. Naehi's tears continued to fall, and Prince Zoe's eyes burned with determination. Without another word, Prince Zoe's lips crashed onto Naehi's, their kiss passionate and all-consuming. Naehi's eyes fluttered closed as she surrendered to the kiss, her tears mixing with the sweetness of their lips. As they broke apart for air, Prince Zoe's hands wrapped around Naehi, pulling her into a tight hug. "My dear Naehi, I love you," he whispered, his voice muffled against her hair. Naehi nodded, her voice barely audible. "I know, my lord. Until tomorrow, we'll meet again. Bye." As Naehi turned to leave, Prince Zoe's hand shot out, grasping hers once more. He pulled her back into a fierce hug. "Goodbye, my dear Naehi. Until tomorrow." Finally, Prince Zoe released Naehi, watching as she disappeared into the distance. His heart ached with every step she took away from him. But Prince Zoe was determined to change Naehi's fate. He wouldn't let her go without a fight. As he stood there, a plan began to form in his mind. Naehi's fate wouldn't be decided by anyone else. Prince Zoe would make sure of it. She would stay with him, in the palace, where she belonged – by his side. Story continues.......
