CHAPTER 23: The Scent
THEY WOKE UP early in the morning to fix Eloise's things. While packing her clothes, Alpha Damon was just watching her like he couldn't believe that their short vacation had finally come to its end. It was obvious on his face the disappointment that they needed to go back on their usual selves again.
"You know, if you want to stay here longer, then it's fine," he said, making Eloise sighed and looked at him.
"You also know that I can't do that."
He sighed heavily. "Can we just... forget everything and stay here for the rest of our lives? Everything was so perfect for us here, you agree with me, right?"
