Chapter 19

1075 Words
"Actually, I have liked you since the day that we first met. You know that? I was so scared to tell you about that thing, cuz I'd always think that you'd leave, you would ignore me or something, because I was not like other boys, like hot, genius, handsome. I have a lot of insecurities and those insecurities always stop me confessing to you. And so I once thought that your dad might get mad because, for some somehow, dads are strict when it comes to their daughters. And a lot of people in this world might have liked you once and I already encountered that. Remember last year when someone confessed to you in front of many people and you just ignored him after you said no, and I was like 'for sure you'll ignore me too'. That time I was very afraid of losing you. As you know, I think I'd lose my whole world if you left", he confessed literally in front of someone he loved in a silent place where no one was there except for both of them. While she was so down to hear the full story with the feeling like why didn't she ever notice that since then,, did she looked so disappointed at herself, saying through her mind that she was a fool, numb and blind, looking not to see any effort from him although he did. "A moment when we're still just a kid, an undeniable fact that you're excellent at dancing. Although in cheerleading or hiphop, I just can't deny how good you are." He emerged as Ivory just gulped and gave a single glance and looked away once again. "And that ballroom dance at the graduation ball. I used to kiss you, but when someone just caught your attention and so you walked away", she looked at a cherry-colored girl as Liam annexed feeling so disappointed. "And I got jealous, asking, why couldn't I be like other boys? That time my mom caught me outside, in front of our house, sitting at the side and drinking alcohol, and then she asked what happened" had she headed down and slowly leaned to him, as Liam took a glance and smiled. "Aunt ready for something like this", she was trembling and scared as the cold wind of sadness caressed Liam's body on the rooftop with a windy silence. In fact, there are two great ways to live a life; they are discovering the world, or following your heart. Sounds like the same, but if you think about it more and deeper you'll see the difference. Discovering the world gives you a lot of memories and lessons, like you would rather break or free, but sometimes for some good reasons, following your beautiful heart means the most. Sometimes it leads to your break but the lessons are still on. It's hard to choose, but it's better to think first. A day passed after the emotional confession. She diverted herself, from just friends to strangers. Life turns grey and clouds can't now handle the weight. Never realized how it feels but just a single glance, both of them can't do it at that time. He looked at himself in the small darkness of being regretted. He'd like to make himself believe that planet earth turns slowly. It's hard to say that he would rather stay awake when he's asleep. The noise of an opening door was what he heard after a minute of crying. He slightly turned his head to see. A light coming from outside dazzled him together with a dark detailed shadow of a man standing there. "Don't just sit there and..." -"you don't know how it feels" Atlas was just cut off when a loud yell came out through Liam's mouth with misty eyes. A pitiful face burst out at him, causing him to stop for a second. He knew he had done it in a practical way, he knew that he had done everything, but she wasn't ready yet. Atlas just felt sorry for it although he knew he didn't belong in that situation. After that, the room was covered in silence and so Atlas began to move again and sat in front. Liam was sitting in front with his body stumped, facing so down. He tried to give him a chocolate he was holding in his hand but he refused quickly by moving his whole body away from him. He thought it would be easy to comfort him like what Quinn told him before, but it all went wrong. Sadness had already spread over his body and controlled him easily in intense intensity. He kept all things at his back and continued to think about it so deeply. "I mean look at me..." he slightly headed up and raised his small sad voice, a reason for him to chin up and literally look at him. He gasped and continued talking- "I'm not like you" Atlas began to chuckle slightly and considered it a hilarious joke. He stood up and held his shoulder and strained him to come up but Liam refused as Atlas gave up on, constraining him. He turned away from him as he changed his mind and ambled outside holding his nape. He suddenly stopped a second and gasped, "guess I can't beat your pride." He refused to think that maybe he could persuade him to come out of this. He knew he wouldn't. He closed the door and walked through the kitchen as he saw his mom sitting on the couch looking so tired from work at the laundry shop. "Mom... I think out little baby boy we're now grown up" he said while opening the cabinet and searching for some stuffs to cook. "Why?- I didn't see him today. Going to school without eating breakfast and not home yet?" His mom, terribly, asked, while, she accidentally hit the glass vase with her hand and crashed it into the floor, causing a huge bang inside their house. Liam started to stand but he fell once because of a terrible noise he heard as he continued to stand and ran outside and peek through the door. "What happened?" He yelled from fear as her face turned blue. Atlas chuckled and burted into laughter, seeing how scared Liam is when it comes to his mom, but the most precious fact is he saw girls he's worried about his mom all the time.
