The deeply disturbed girl could not take her eyes off of the slumbering giant. A line of drool ran from the corner of his mouth and his huge belly rose and fell with every breath. What drove this cruel man, she asked herself. Was it hate? Was it just pure meanness? Whatever it was, he had lots of it.
