Orientation
When the well dressed, grey haired man had dragged her from Kuribashi’s office, he had taken her back to the elevator that she had come up in. She saw herself reflected in the gleaming polished steel of the elevator door while they waited for it to arrive. What she saw was a woman who had been totally transformed from free, liberated, outspoken and adventurous, to silent, ashamed, compliant and degraded. Her eyes met those of her possessor in the mirror like surface. They were as hard and as cold as the elevator door. He grinned at her and tightened his grip on her leash.
