"Please, give a big round of applause to the four contestants who managed to escape the tunnel!"
Roars of joy and cheers permeate the air and I look around with a smile, waving at some of the people of the crowd before Ellynmen slaps my hand back down.
"Ow, hey, what's the deal?"
I've always wanted to wave maniacally to a crowd and now I got the chance, why is it also forbidden?!
"You're too obvious," Ellynmen mutters under his breath but it was loud enough for me to hear. "Can you see Lyra and Edmund waving and grinning at the crowd? Imagine you've just faced your biggest fear and managed to scrounge up the courage to overcome it, will you be waving your hand about while grinning like a fool?"
Ugh, he has a point.
I don't want to ruin our disguises just yet but I can't help myself.
