Mated To The Cold Alpha

Chapter 2

Her hands shot out and shook violently at the top of the water as she cried for help. Uriel was lost, she felt regret over not taking her swimming lessons serious in the past. It was not like she was offered one anyway.

"Help me! Someone save me." Those were her last words before her gaze turned dark and blindness took over.

In the huge garden, a young man strolled casually with his hand tucked in his pocket. His eyes held no expression whatsoever as he leisurely strolled the garden, until his gaze fell on the swimming pool.

Xander frowned, he stepped closer to the swimming pool only to find a body submerged in the waters. Xander immediately unbuttoned his shirt and dived straight into the huge swimming pool in order to save a life.

Sandra sat with a smirk on her face as she twirled the glass of wine in her hand. She twirled silently while processing all her thoughts and actions, she had not only managed to stop her sister from spending her wedding night with her husband but she also managed to replace her sister....

The Alpha was hers alone, Sandra refused to share the Alpha with anyone especially if that person was her sister. Her lips stretched into a wider smile when she stared at the unconscious man on the bed, he was drugged and out.

Sandra placed down her wine glass and slowly moved towards the bed while unbuttoning her shirt, she took off her sleeve and then took off her bra too. She also removed her skirt not forgetting to do that, she then proceeded to lay onto the man on the bed......

Uriel frowned when she felt the sunlight hitting her eyes, the bright light made it uncomfortable for her to sleep. She turned and tossed on the bed trying to avoid the bright light till she fell on the ground.

"Ouch....!" Uriel groaned, feeling the pain from falling off the bed. She opened her eyes wide in surprise when the memory of the previous night hit her.

Uriel shivered in fear from the memory, she survived. She was alive, she didn't pass on to heaven right? Uriel wondered a bit skeptical that she managed to survive.

While Uriel lay on the ground refusing to stand up from there just in case she was dreaming, Xander stood at the door with his hands in his pocket, staring at the girl on the ground with an expressionless face.

Uriel groaned in pain from the fall, turning her head, her gaze fell on a man standing at the door. Uriel immediately shrank back and hid herself from sight, staring at the man suspiciously.

Maybe he was one of those thugs sent to make sure she didn't escape, she shivered in fear from his piercing gaze on her. "Ermmm... Who... are... you?" Uriel slowly asked, staring at him cautiously.

Xander clicked his tongue before pulling himself away from the door, with his hand shoved in his pockets he took slow steps towards Uriel with a menacing look in his eyes....

"Stay away from me .. don't come any closer to me... Stay away..." Uriel mumbled, pulling back her legs again. This man was more frightening than those men who threw her into the swimming pool the previous night.

Xander stopped in his steps sensing her fears, more like he was forced to stop by his wolf. Xander's jaw ticked, "Hi, I am Xander and you are?" He introduced himself by gritting his teeth.

He hated it whenever anyone cowered or feared him as if he was a ghost when he was just Xander, not anything grand. "Uriel" Uriel replied in a monotone the intensity of fear in her eyes had subsided.

Xander lazily took his seat at the edge of the bed, he ran his fingers through his head before fixing his gaze on her once again. "Uriel Cower? The omega wolf? Or rather the eldest young lady of the Cower household?"

Uriel froze, this man knew her identity all too well. Was he monitoring her life, it must be her step mother's doing, they wanted to end her life completely, her step mother must have told him all these.

"Why do you want to kill me? How do you know my name? Back off stay away from me, don't come closer.." Uriel cried, jumping right into conclusion.

Xander frowned, right before he could answer her question and stop the loose thoughts running in her mind, the loud sound of his ringing tone rang out heavily..

They both got startled by the sound of the phone, Xander groaned and picked up his call line.

"Master, please come quickly. The second young lady of the Cower family is suspected to have spent the night with you....."

"She's currently locked inside your room with a man suspected to be you." The head maid reported in a low tone, so as not to call too much attention to herself.

A glint flashed through Xander's eyes, his gaze involuntarily fell on the girl sticking to the side of the bed. An idea clicked in his mind, he replied an "Um" and ended the call.

"Stand up,you are coming with me." He said to Uriel standing up on his feet. Uriel froze and refused to move from her position, she frowned and held onto the bed side with a tight grip.

"If you don't stand up now, then I will carry you in my hands and walk out for everyone to see..." Xander drawled and Uriel was quick to stand up, Uriel refused to let any man touch her especially in her conscious state.

They both walked out of the room, leaving a piece of Uriel behind.

At The Master's House...

"Open this door now! I want to see my daughter!"

"Ma'am please calm down, the key to this room can only be found with the master and his loyal guard and they are both nowhere to be found." The servant pleaded with urgency...

"Shut up!" A Loud slap echoed in the room, every servant standing with their head bowed felt the coldness in the hair.

"Do you think a lowly servant like you can tell me what to do? Get out of my way this instant, Gerald go and break the door." The woman yelled without regard to the words of the servant.

"And who dares to open my door without my permission?"
