Hector pushes me into the back seat of the SUV that's parked on the side of the street and quickly gets in next to me. Robbie gets into the passenger seat and we speed away.
My heart is beating so fast, it's amazing that I'm still alive. But it's not because I'm afraid. I'm not. At all. I'm alive. More alive than I've ever been. I sense danger on the horizon, but I sense something else too.
