We've been driving for hours now, not knowing what our destination will be. We've just crossed over into Pennsylvania and there's nothing but miles and miles of pasture. I've never seen anything like it. Sloan begins to slow down when we come up on a horse and buggy. I've read about Amish people before, but I've never seen one in person. Honestly, I didn't think they really existed. I thought it was just a made up fairy tale like Harry Potter or Santa Clause. But wow. Here they are- in a thriving little community.
