“We’re at your gate.”
“How did you know I’ve left Mrs. Morrison’s house?” Travis asked, surprised.
CEO Douglass was silent and only sighed.
Travis thought it was CEO Moore who followed CEO Douglass, so he dropped the TV remote and said, “I’m coming.”
He went out, thinking they were here to ask him if he had gotten a wife from the Morrisons’ family, and he was thinking whether he should lie or tell them the truth. But since they’re his friends, he had no choice but to tell them the truth.
