"Oh my gosh!!!" I squealed
"What's wrong?" he asked
"You have a Hennessey Venom F5?" I inquired.
"You like cars?"
"Of Course, What’s not like?" I replied grinning like an i***t.
"Well, this is my favorite."
"Oh really?"
"Yea."
"Wait isn't this car illegal to drive in this state?"
"Yes it is but not for me though." He said flashing his million-dollar smile. The smile is so familiar. The one he used to win the hearts of all his co-stars in the movies. And imagine how many in real life.
"I approached the car and marveled at its beauty. It was black with black rims. Even the windows had black tints and leather interior.
"I think I'm in love," I said still in awe.
"In love with me or the car?" he said with a twisted smile.
"With the car course," I replied softly.
"Is that so?" He whispered leading me to the passenger's side of the car. He was a real gentleman opening and closing the door for me. It's too bad he's such pain in the ass. He got in the car and I took the chance to examine the interior of the car. The steering wheel rectangular and covered with buttons. The dashboard was nothing like I’ve seen before, it was sleek to say the most, exquisite even and expensive. It was covered in leather along with the door covers. The engine switched on and it roared as it came to life.
"What type of food do you prefer anyways?" he asked.
"I guess anything will do," I replied We arrived at a restaurant about ten minutes later. He opened the door and led me into the restaurant. On our way in he whispered softly in my ears.
"You look beautiful tonight."
"You don't look so bad yourself," I replied in a straight tone as I tried to hide the fact that his compliment almost knocked me off my feet, but he just smiled. He then proceeded to lead us to our table and pulled out my chair.
"Are you okay?" He asked with a hint of worry in his voice.
"You own a Bugatti Veyron," I replied, he chuckled, and it was like I was listening to a symphony, smooth and relaxing.
"well, I own a lot more sports cars. I would love to show you sometimes." He said taking a sip of water, but his bright blue eyes never left mine.
"That would be nice," I replied, and I could feel my cheeks heating up.
"But I'm guessing that's not the real reason. Afraid your boyfriend will see you?"
"Of course not. After all, this is not a date just a meeting."
"You sure didn't dress like it. But anyways just relax."
The way I dressed was not professional enough for him?
The waitress approached our table to take our order. I ordered a salad while Claude ordered the night's special (I had no idea what it was) and a bottle of champagne. We enjoyed our meal with a little chit chat. Claude watched me as I ate. His gorgeous blue eyes bore into me and he wore a satisfied grin.
"What's going on with you?" Claude asked
"What do you mean?" I asked as I took a sip of the wine.
"Something is off about you. You were much... happier when we were first introduced," he replied as he stared at me
"..." I remained silent as speaking would break the dam.
"You can tell me, for the next five minutes I'm not your boss but your friend."
I took a deep breath as I mentally prepared myself. "I found my best friend in bed with my boyfriend and that they have been cheating together for months."
"That sucks, I'm sorry you had to go through that?" he said as he saw the tears running down my cheeks.
"Why are you so nice to me? I mean I appreciate it but it doesn't make sense." I replied as I damped my cheeks with a napkin.
"You seem like a nice person. To be honest you intrigue me, you don't follow me around work nor do you seemed obsessed with me in the slightest," he explained with an eyebrow raised.
"I love my job," I answered truthfully.
"I have a proposal for you."
"What is it?" I asked curiously.
"I want you to model clothes for me in a scene in the movie."
"What do you mean?'
"There is a model scene in the movie and I want you to do it."
"Why?"
"What can I say, you have the body for it. Am I wrong?"
"Very much so," I replied.
"Prove it."
"Excuse me?" I sputtered.
"Prove me wrong," he said in a calm tone.
"How?"
"Let me see."
"You can't be serious?"
And he chuckled loudly. And his eyes lit up with amusement.
"It goes without saying but I was indeed joking." He said as he stared at me with those passionate eyes of his.
"That's good," I said weaving a sigh of relief.
"Or am I?"
"What! The last thing I would do is take my clothes off for you."
"The look on your face is so ridiculously hilarious." He provoked as he continued to laugh. It seems he’s purposely trying to get a reaction out of me.
"Very funny."
"But I am serious about the scene."
"Why not ask Tori?" I asked.
"She's attractive but she doesn't have what it takes."
"And I do?"
"Yes!"
"I'm not sure that I can do it."
"At least think about it." Replied as he sipped his glass of wine.
"I will."
“So, tell me about yourself." He said as he took a bit of his meal.
"Well, I'm twenty-four years old, I recently graduated from university with a degree in psychology amongst others including the Korean language and marketing.”
"It was the first job I got out of college and I like photography and makeup. It's one of the things that allows me to show my creativity, and it also pays the bills."
"Impressive!!" he replied with a shocked expression. "So why are you at the studio when you are clearly overqualified?"
"I see and what about your family?" Claude inquired.
"I never knew my dad and my mom passed away."
An hour later Claude asked for the check. He paid, and we left. This was the best night I've had in a long time. I got to do on a date with Claude. We entered the car and soon we pulled up in front of my apartment.
