The sun broke through the curtains, cascading into the window. I laid in bed next to my mate, admiring the delicate drops of snow melting and rolling down the glass. Colleen stirred in my arms, snuggling up closer to me. Since the day we made up from our fight, I have never felt more in love with this woman in my life. She has changed so much just in the past week and has begun to look at things differently, especially when it comes to our family and protecting it.
