A strangled gasp slipped out the moment we walked into the scene Arthur had set up. My palm flew to my mouth immediately, praying no one aside from Malakai heard me. It would be dangerous to expose myself. He glanced at me from the corner of his eyes, but thankfully no one else paid me any attention. I was truly invisible. It was terrifying and thrilling all at once. And it was insane that I was staring at… myself.
