Malakai's POV
Once Camilla stepped out of the office, I sent Ezra a link.
'Get a drone in the air. I want to see everything out there.'
There was a pause before Ezra’s voice came through. 'A drone? What about the surveillance feeds? We can check the cameras instead.'
'What survi—' I rubbed my temple as the memory came back to me. 'Right.'
For a moment I had forgotten the pack was wired with hidden cameras disguised as streetlights. We installed them years ago when rogue attacks were rampant. It felt like another lifetime, though only four years had passed since the fight that took my mother and Gianna's.
