She was going to go back to bed but was wide awake. Making breakfast for herself she kept feeling Geo's eyes on her. It was easily the creepiest feeling she'd had in a while. Almost as though he could see inside her soul. She wasn't sure why but that wasn't the creepy part. That felt like a connection she had been wanting with anyone, something she hadn't felt since her mother was alive. He had brought her locket to her and she now held on to it hoping this would be the way her mom wanted it. She had already decided she wanted to become the Alpha that the Blood Moon pack deserved. She knew she had strength inside of her. She was only nervous because they hadn't know she survived, how would they know who she was?
She had her breakfast and cleaned the kitchen when she began hearing a voice quietly whispering in her head.
You are the rightful heir and leader, we will overcome and become the best Alpha they have ever had. With me by your side we can conquer any opposition.
She felt more secure after hearing the voice. Longing for something to do Serenity started searching for anything to hold her attention. that's when she came across a closet just outside of the bedroom. She opened it revealing a cache of sewing equipment. She had forgotten how much she loved making clothes and household items like blankets. Serenity pulled everything from the closet and set up a sewing station in the empty bedroom she wasn't using. Since it was empty already she moved things in and borrowed a table from the living area along with a chair. All she needed was fabric which she had asked for from Victor. It could be days before he came back. She decided tho look through the house for fabric she could reclaim and repurpose. So many things were outdated in the small cabin she could see herself redoing the decor to match her style. A month in this cabin was going to be difficult without going crazy.
She went to the closet in the newly converted sewing room and tossed open the door. the dust was overpowering, however there just inside were some older dresses and clothing. Just what she was hoping for. She pulled the dresses out one at a time admiring the quality of the fabrics she happened upon. they could all be washed on gentle and come out perfect for her to alter to reclaim. She made a mental note to ask if she could use them. There was one particular dress she could see making in to her Blood Moon costume. The gathering had always been a formal masquerade party. If she was going to take her place amongst the elite and claim her throne, she needed to look the part. And she was certain she could do just that in this dress with her own touches to make it even more beautiful. Only one month, to train, tho create her best first impression. She was going to wow everyone, and hopefully that included her mate.
