Nothing was impossible if you were willing to pay the price. Eternal youth, stunning beauty, superhuman strength, and exceptional power were all within the reach of anybody who had the desire and the means. But the price was always higher than any sane person would agree to. Vampires had immortality and strength, but in exchange, they had to feed on blood. Constantly. It wasn’t a hunger that could be quenched or ignored. It went through a vampire, into the depths of his bones. Vampires never stopped hunting. Not really.
