When I finished, William went completely silent. The wind rolled in off the harbor and rattled the page of the prenup still in his hand. His chest was heaving, and all at once, he stepped forward, reaching for me the way he always used to. I knocked his hand aside. He had something to say, but before he could get anything out, Gordon was already striding up from behind. His fist slammed straight into William's face without warning.
