Ella Once all eyes settled on Trinity, she straightened her back ever so slightly, the movement subtle but calculated. I watched her closely, noting the way she let the silence stretch long enough to heighten anticipation, short enough to keep control. She enjoyed this. “Over the past few years,” Trinity began slowly, her voice smooth and unhurried, “Ublento Medical University has risen rapidly through the ranks. Its research output caught Milena’s attention.” I nearly smiled. She went on, completely unaware that the woman she was name-dropping sat quietly across from her, listening. “Without delay,” Trinity continued, “Milena reached out to the university’s president and proposed a collaborative research venture. The president was thrilled, of course, and approved it immediately.”
