Rorick I felt like the dead as I drove down the dark highway. Checking the clock, I groaned as it read three AM. I still had about two hours left before getting to Pittsburg,h but I was so tired the lines on the road were starting to blur. I glanced over at Ryl, and she was still sleeping soundly. She tried staying awake with me, but passed out a few hours ago. I checked of signs for a motel nearby. There was one in the next two exits, along with some fast food joints. I pulled off on the exit and followed the signs for this crappy little motel off the highway. I pulled in, parking quickly as I pulled out some cash and walked into the lobby.
