Rorick Ryl was standing in a grand room as the floor had opened below her. Dark hands were reaching up and towards her, trying to yank her in as their silhouettes were barely discernible against the inky blackness below. She stumbled back and leaned against he stone wall as she screamed. Hearing that voice, hearing her speak, warmed my heart just as much as watching the floor open beneath her to swallow her whole filled me with ice. I could only think ‘not her’ as I reached for her and yelled out her name as the room seemed to grow larger, pulling us apart. She reached out, my name starting to form on her lips.
