Amaryllis For most of the flight, I was dreaming of looking out the window, but the sun was determined to keep me as caged up as Father. I sighed, simply listening to Rorick's steady breathing as he had taken a nap about an hour ago, though I was unsure if he was even asleep. Something about his heart rate didn’t quite say sleep to me. It was steady, calm, but not slow enough for sleep. I think he’s awake. Not just awake, but listening and possibly hunting. I had spent the last hour breathing deeply, tasting the air, and trying to smell what might have Rorick on edge but nothing came.
