Breach The Contract

1097 Words
Alana's POV First day of work was insane. From Caleb getting mad, snobbish and bossy because I refused to let him f**k me in the bathroom, to dealing with the devil himself. He caught me, catching him jerking off in his office earlier today and honestly, I wonder why I even went there. I guess I was mad. His secretary was supposed to protect and care for me, but instead he did the exact opposite. I guess I wanted to tell him that, or maybe I wanted to see him. I knocked and rushed in, then stilled. He raised his head up and immediately sent me away. The company's car drove me home and he wasn't back yet. I had just finished freshening up and having a late lunch before deciding to go find my sister. I wore a decent short and a free crop top. I saw that he had changed all my office skirts to trousers and made my tops a bit oversized. I frowned, then walked out. Whatever. She was outside at the greenhouse just by the house. It was no surprise what she was doing there since she had particularly taken interest in gardening from nowhere. I guess she didn't even know I was back and I sent her a text, telling her about my work even though I hadn't seen her all day. She looked up at me when I came in and went back to what she was doing like I wasn't even there. Yeah, she was pissed. Incredibly pissed to stay mute. Amanda was usually a tigress and would attack me with questions when she was decently upset. “Are you mad at me for going to work with my boss?” I asked in disbelief, shaking my head because there was just no way. “When you say it like that, it makes me stupid and inconsiderate but still, I just wanted to see you for a bit. I was so bored at home. Thank goodness for all this greenery.” She said as I approached her watering a few plants. Her hands were stained with soil, even her face. Up close, she barely looked like her problems and she had seemed to get over Micheal really well. “I'll only forgive you on one condition,” She soon began to speak and I was more than interested in finding out what that condition was. I waited for her to say something but she didn't. I saw her pick up something from the floor and just before I realized what she was up to, coupled with the mischievous grin on her face, she had hit my skin with a rolled ball of soil, dirt. My eyes widened in shock as I burst into laughter. “I just had a shower!” I screamed. “Whatever!” I shook my head, refusing to back down. We could both be crazy. I rolled up dirt from the ground and threw it right at her, watching it mess up her hair. “Oh no, not the hair! You're targeting my hair because it's longer. How will I wash this!” She cried out, mid laughing. She was so playful and annoying. “You started it! I yelled back as we began a full blown sister fight, dirtying each other in the process. It was satisfying and when we got tired, we burst into laughter “You know what? I feel better and I forgive you. Let's head back now. I'm tired and I need to rest.” She said and I nodded my head in agreement. At this point we were on the floor, messed up, covered in dirt after playing like five year olds. As I looked at her, I tried to remember the last time it happened. Life has truly shaken us. “You definitely need to, come on. Let's wash off first.” I said, getting to her. We stood up immediately and headed to the transparent door. The hairs on the back of my head stood when we looked ahead at the entrance, apparently something had cast a shadow into the greenhouse for a while and we had barely noticed, or we had but just forgot to care. At it stood my bully, staring down at us, at me to be exact, with an unreadable expression on his face. Amanda was scared. “Oh no, we got caught!” Her hands flew to her mouth to stifle her gasp. She wore her emotions like a sleeve, sometimes it was embarrassing. Ryan didn't spare her another glance as he beckoned on me to come over. “You, come with me.” He said and turned around, heading to the mansion. I swallowed, unsure of what the issue was now. When I faced Amanda, she looked scared for me. “You'll be okay right?” She asked, a hopeful expression passing through her eyes. Her voice was softer, nothing like the crazy voice that threw dirt at me. “Yes but I want you to be too, so go take a shower. For now I have to run up and meet my boss.” “Doesn't he care that you're messy? He didn't even say hi to me. He seems mean.” I couldn't help but smile. She was so naive even though she could swear that she wasn't. “Don't worry about it.” Then I left her and ran. I followed behind Ryan, trying to make his pace as we headed back to his mansion. I felt like I had done the worst thing to ever exist and on top, I looked like a mess. The walk to his room was silent but we eventually got there. “Get in there and wash up,” He pointed to his personal washroom. “You weren't waiting for me on my bed and you look awful.” “Oh. I'm so sorry about that, I forgot.” I said in one breath, trying to steady my breathing. “You forgot.” Then he chuckled, darkly. “She forgot.” He repeated, his voice getting scarier by the second. I couldn't see his face as he had his back to me but I knew he was pissed. “Stop trying to breach the contract. If you wonder what will happen if you do, stop wondering. You're better off without knowing. Now get in there.” I nodded and proceeded to wash up again for the second time within an hour, not really anticipating what would come next, or maybe I was.
