Enemies? Were we now enemies with Gabriella's family? I couldn't believe this turn of events. This was the last thing that I was expecting to happen.
"Arthur!"
I stiffen when I feel Emily's hands wrap around my body. "Please forgive me. I beg of you; I swear that I've never wanted to hurt you. I can't explain why I did what I did, but you have to believe me when I tell you that I love you. I'm so sorry, but please do not throw me out of your life."
I slowly remove her hands from around me and gaze down at her teary face, " I can't forgive you for what you did, Emily. I feel sorry that we will lose the good friendship we once had but what you did is unforgivable. I also can't have room for you in my life with the way that I feel for Gabriella; there will always be problems."
