Nestor’s POV
For the past week, I have been feeling off and waking up with an unexplainable headache that even confused Zeuxis. It made him restless, and he whines a lot afterwards. Also, Maat has been acting weird lately as if she was hiding something from me. The other day, she came back wearing training clothes with her top wet and when I asked her she said she was exercising, but told Lorgos she went for a run. What raised my suspicion was, she took no interest in training since she got here. I thought she would suggest it on her own to join the female warriors in their training, but nothing and she is always energetic and very fit, even after giving birth to the pups.
‘I asked Naila about it and she said she doesn’t need training as yet.’ Zeuxis chimed in with a yawn.
