INNOCENT MAN

Sweet Life.

Ciara, her dad Austin, her mum and siblings sat down to enjoy their lunch. It was a Friday and they always had lunch at home on Fridays since they ended school and work on time. Their mum had made white sauce with chicken stock and pepperoni and then buttered rice. It was there dad's favorite meal. After lunch, Ciara had to do the dishes while her mum and dad retired back to their room for an afternoon nap before leaving again for work. Archie and Mina dashed to the sitting room to watch a movie. After doing the dishes, Ciara stepped outside to find her brother and sister watching the new movie that was airing life. She slumped down on the space near Archie and brought out her phone. She leaned in on the chair and started scrolling through her phone.

After a few minutes, she got bored and looked up to the television set. An advertisement was being displayed. She hissed and laid down on the sofa then put her legs on Archie's legs.

Archie turned to look at his sister.

" Have any complaint big head ", Ciara asked with a grin.

Archie wanted to curse Ciara, but he knew want she wanted and this wasn't going to give it to her. He squeezed his eyes shut and ignored her then turned back to the television like nothing was happening. All these while, Mina was lying down and facing the television set with dreamy eyes. Ciara looked at her and couldn't help but ask.

" Hey barbie, What's with the dreamy eyes", Ciara asked taking turns to look and her sister and her phone.

Mina totally ignored her like she didn't exist. Mina was so good at acting all snobbish, but Ciara was the best at mischievous pranks and the queen of snob highway so she didn't let her sister's attitude get to her, the girl was just trying to act all cool. Ciara grinned and stood up. She was feeling bored and her siblings weren't going to pay attention to her unless the movie was over. She was all ready to play a prank on the when her parents came out. She was almost caught. Luckily for her, she was quick to leave the sitting room and pretend to go to the kitchen for a glass of water. After her parents finally left for their afternoon shift, she dashed back into the sitting room just in time for the movie to finish.

" Hey looser, hey barbie, wanna go to the park", Ciara asked. Her offer was tempting and she knew they wouldn't reject her and just as she predicted, they were quick to say yes. The three of them soon raced off to their rooms to get ready with the bet of the last was gonna buy drinks. And of course Ciara was the last as usual. Whenever she put such bets she was always the last and the reason was clear, she was doing it for her siblings. After they had secured the lock of they house, the trio left to walk to the park nearby.
