Asking for Help

Our father will be stepping down as Alpha of the Crystal Blue Moon pack in a few months. My brothers Micah, Nathan, and I will take over as Alphas of the pack. Since my brothers and I are triplets, we will share the Alpha title and responsibilities of being an Alpha.

Triplets are extremely rare for werewolves. It has something to do with one soul being split into three to create three wolfs. One day, we will also share a mate if we can find her. Nathan, Micah, and I were hoping to find our mate before taking over as Alpha's; unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case.

We searched for our mate for the last two years and still haven't found her. We know that it is only time before we find her. Sharing our mate will not be a problem as we share everything as it is now.

Currently, Nathan, Micah, and I are at the training field, watching our head trainers begin training our new pack warriors. Once a pack member has shifted for the first time, they can start their training around the age of 16. We require everyone to train, even the she-wolves. Every pack member must be able to defend themselves. Then, the individual can decide if they would like to train to be a pack warrior and move on to the more advanced training sessions.

It looks like this group we have some natural fighters that will enhance our ranks should they decide to move on and train to be a pack warrior. The training to be a pack warrior is very intense, and not all end up completing the training to become a pack warrior.

"Boys, I need you to come to my office now," our father's mind links us.

"We are on our way," my brothers and I reply in unison.

"I wonder what father needs to see us about?" Nathan asks as we walk towards the packhouse.

"I don't know. Probably has to do with some pack business," I tell Nathan

"I like the new batch of pack warriors this year. There seems to be a lot of potential," Micah says excitedly.

"I agree. This year's batch will enhance our ranks even more," I tell Micah as we walk into the packhouse and up to our father's office.

The door to the father's office is open. I knock on the frame to let my father know that we are here, and he nods for us to come in. As we walk in, I notice that one of our Elemental White Wolves sits at my father's desk. Nathan closes the door behind him, and we all sit on the couch near our father's desk.

"Sons, this is Raine. Raine, these are my sons Wyatt, Micah, and Nathan," my father says, making the introductions.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Alphas," Raine said

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Raine," I say to the three of us.

"Raine is here seeking our help. I will let Raine explain," my father says

"I should start at the beginning. About 25 years ago, I was taken by the Alpha of Red Crimson Moon Pack. The Alpha forcibly marked and mated with me. He told my family that I was his mate; however, he would never let me communicate with them or vice versa, so my family had no idea at the time that I wasn't his mate. After about a year after I was taken, I became pregnant with my son Derek and then four years later with my daughter Remi. I knew my son Derek wasn't an Elemental White Wolf; however, I knew Remi was an Elemental White Wolf. It's hard to explain, but as their mother, I just knew. Shortly after giving birth to Remi, I tried to escape with Derek and Remi. I didn't want my children to be raised by the Alpha, and I was also afraid of his plans for our daughter, Remi, once he knew she was an elemental white wolf. Unfortunately, even at the tender age of four, my son Derek was very loyal to his father and told his father that we were escaping. I had just gotten over the pack broader when I was caught. I was nearly beaten to death and left for dead. I was found by the Royal Guard, who happened to be in the area investigating reports of black-market activities in connection to the Red Crimson Moon Pack. I was taken to the Royal pack hospital, where it took months for me to recover. I had died, and they almost couldn't bring me back; however, they did. I believe because I had died, the forced mate bond that I had with the Alpha broke, so he is unaware that I survived," Raine says

"Red Crimson Moon Pack is run by Alpha Maverick, who is rumored to have shady dealings with the black market. Alpha Maverick runs his pack with an iron fist, and she-wolves have no rights. I had suspicions that Alpha Maverick kidnapped Raine, forced, marked, and mated with her. Unfortunately, I didn't have any proof," our father says.

"Father, why would Alpha Maverick kidnap Raine and then force mark and mate with her?" I ask

"Generally, an Elemental While the wolf is a product of two Elemental White Wolves mating. However, Alpha's are the exception to the rule. When an Elemental White Wolf mates with an Alpha, there is a fifty percent chance the pup will be an Elemental White Wolf. As you know, we are highly sought after due to our Elemental abilities," Raine says

"What can we do?" I ask

"For years, I have been trying to find out if Remi is still alive. However, the Red Crimson Moon Pack is very secretive, and it has been nearly impossible to get any information about the pack or Remi. However, a source at the pack recently sent me a photo that shows Remi is still alive. If this is the case, she is almost 18 years," Raine says

"How do you know that you can trust this source?" I ask Mia

"My source is the one that helps me escape," Raine says

"How does your source know that your daughter is still alive?" Nathan asks.

"He sent me this picture. Unfortunately, the only picture taken of her is about ten years old," Raine says, handing us the picture.

The girl in the picture is eight years old with white hair and the most beautiful sapphire blue eyes. Tell-tale signs that the girl is an Elemental White Wolf. She looks so sad and haunted for such a young girl. She is standing with a boy that looks to be about four years older and is a carbon copy of his father, who is standing in the picture. I can only assume this is Alpha Maverick, who has cruel emerald eyes with short jet-black hair. He is easily 6'7 with broad shoulders and a muscular build.

"So, the girl in the picture would be about 18 years old now. I'm not sure how we can help you?" Micah says

"If she is 18, then she will shift for the first time on her 18th birthday, which is in a couple of days, which also means she will be able to produce Elemental White Wolf pups. I'm afraid that her father will turn her into a pup making factory and sell her pups to the highest bidder, especially if they are Elemental While Wolf pups," Raine says softly

"I'm not sure there is much we can do since Alpha Maverick is her father, and he believes you to be dead," I tell Raine.

"I think this situation calls for a fact-finding mission. It's no secret that Alpha Maverick would love an alliance with us since we are the strongest and largest pack in the world. I think that you boys need to meet with Alpha Maverick and assess the situation. Also, to see if the girl is still there and hasn't been killed or sold. Then see if you can get enough information to take to the council and the king so that they can launch an investigation," our father tells us

The werewolf council oversees and governs all packs to ensure our laws are upheld. Centuries ago, the King of Werewolves set up the council to help him maintain the peace between the packs; the council keeps the king up to date on what is going on with each pack.

"Raine, do you think your source would be willing to help us once we are there?" I ask

"Yes, I believe so, though he may ask for asylum in return for himself and his family. He mentioned that he and his mate are expecting, and the doctor has confirmed that their pup is a girl," Raine tells me

"That is understandable, considering we ask him to risk his life and family lives to help us. We have no problem offering him and his family asylum," I tell Raine

"I will contact Alpha Maverick, letting him know that we are looking to expand our alliance and would like to meet to see if an alliance can be forged," our father says

"Raine, please contact your source and let him know that we are coming. Offer him and his family asylum if he can help us gather evidence against Alpha Maverick," I say

"Do you think that is a wise idea? We don't know if we can trust this source," Nathan says

"Ture, but we don't have a choice. We need someone on the inside to help us, or we won't be able to gather the information we need to see what is going on in the Red Crimson Moon Pack," I tell Nathan.

"Raine, we will try and do our best to expose what is going on within the pack; however, I'm not sure what else we can do for you or your daughter," I tell Raine.

"Thank you for your help regardless of how this turns out," Raine says.

"We will let you know if we find out anything," I tell Raine.

"I will set up the meeting one week from today," my father tells us
