They say that when it rains, it pours. I know that to be true better than anyone else. Damien is in a lot of trouble, not because Volkov is after him, no, but because Volkov might just be the least of his problems. Especially if he can't find Domenico in time.
I know that he said that he had everything under control, but I couldn't just stand by and not do anything. Which is why I am going to do the one I never thought that I would do.
As soon as I heard Damien leaving for his run with Sergio, I knew that I had to wake up and do something. I took my phone on the nightstand and made a call. I dialed the numbers and hoped that he hadn't changed his number. He answered on the first ring.
