It was morning the next day. I woke up in bed, my eyes still half closed, my mind dazed, and my breathing shallow.
I didn't think of anything, I just lay there, staring at the lamp on my bedside table. My mind was empty, but I still felt the sensations oozing through my body.
My skin pulsed gently, my eyes stung, and my n*****s were aching so badly, as if they were bitten by beasts. I continued to lie on the bed lazily, until a sound echoed gently in the room.
My mind which had been blank, my brain which was still asleep were startled awake, and even my body reacted to the sound. My eyes snapped to where the sound had come from, and seeing the little alarm clock I had come to recognise, I gulped and then, I remembered where I was.
