Knowing Rohan wanted a clear response, I gave him the same answer I used to say when I understood his words but did not agree with them. “I heard you.” His expression twisted with barely contained fury. His jaw clenched, his nostrils flared, and just as he was about to explode, he shut his eyes and inhaled deeply, attempting to calm himself.
