The entire academy was gathered in the grand hall for an assembly when the principal stepped onto the stage, tapping the microphone for silence.
"Students, I have an exciting announcement," he began, his voice echoing through the room. "As you all know, the Solstice Ball is a long-standing tradition of our academy. This year, we will once again be hosting it, but with a special twist. The young ladies from Whitmore Academy will be joining us."
The reaction was instant. Cheers erupted, murmurs spread, and a few excited whispers floated through the air.
