I kept my head down, shoulders hunched, as I navigated the crowded hallway. Being shorter than most of the guys made it easier to get lost in the sea of bodies, which was exactly what I wanted. I just needed to get to my locker, grab my books, and disappear into the library. That was the plan, anyway.
