Avery's POV
It was a good thing I wasn't driving, because out of nowhere I had an intense pain in my leg. I couldn't figure out what was wrong until it clicked. The mate bond. I'm feeling half the pain of what Daisy is feeling. "Hurry up!" I yell, angrily. We weren't too far away from the town, so I jumped out of the car and shifted to my wolf form. I needed to get to the accident as fast as possible.
My father was close behind me as we approached the edge of town. Shifting back into human form, we quickly make our way over to where a car had collided head on with a tree. My heart felt as if it was going to tear right out of my chest.
