Avery's POV
When Jackson mind liked me about Kevin, I was outraged. I told Daisy about the incident and she suggested that she goes and check on them. I didn't want her to go, but I understand that it's her best friend and a family that she considered her own. "You can go, but leave Alice with me. Also, I'm assigning two bodyguards to accompany you." She gave me a stern look, "Two? How about just one? I'll be fine. Shawn would never hurt me." I should have known you would try to compromise. At least she wasn't fighting me on a bodyguard going in the first place. "Okay, one bodyguard." She flashes me that beautiful smile of hers and places a kiss on my cheek. "Thank you, Avery. I'll be back soon." With that, Alex, one of my guards, met Daisy at the door and out they went.
